Nestled at the northern end of the Great Central Valley along the winding Sacramento River, the City of Anderson, in "upstate" California is a community that cares about its citizens and businesses. The city was named after ranch owner Elias Anderson who granted the Oregon and California Railroad trackage rights and land for a station. Elias Anderson was a farmer, hotel owner, and postmaster. Anderson is also home to EAGSA, the Enterprise Anderson Groundwater Sustainability Agency (EAGSA). is tasked with sustainably managing our local groundwater resources. It consists of the overlying members of the Redding Area Groundwater Basin and was formed by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreed to by the City of Anderson, the County of Shasta, the Clear Creek Community Services District (CCCSD), the Bella Vista Water District, the Anderson Cottonwood Irrigation District (ACID), and the City of Redding. The EAGSA Board of Directors is comprised of elected officials representing each agency. Followed up by Redding, Anderson is the closest city to our business - and therefore has a tendency to receive much of our aid in times of dire circumstances. Whether it fire damage restoration, water restoration or any other of the countless services we provide - we will always be there to help our community! One of the most notable places in Anderson that we highly recommend anyone visits would be Anderson River Park! A fantastic place for the family or even a community gathering, as often we see. We too have hosted several events in that locale!
