Whether you're looking for restoration, cleaning or construction services in Harrison, we're here to help 24/7.

Harrison, Arkansas was platted and made the county seat of Boone County in 1869, during Reconstruction after the Civil War. It is named after Marcus LaRue Harrison, a Union officer who surveyed and platted the town. The town of Harrison was incorporated on March 1, 1876.

On May 7, 1961, heavy rain caused Crooked Creek, immediately south of the downtown Harrison business district, to flood the town square and much of the southwestern part of the city. Water levels inside buildings reached eight feet (2.5 m). Many small buildings and automobiles were swept away. According to the American Red Cross, four lives were lost, 80 percent of the town's business district was destroyed, and over 300 buildings were damaged or destroyed in losses exceeding $5.4 million. In 1962, Sam Walton opened his second Wal-Mart store in Harrison.

North Arkansas College (Northark) is a public community college in Harrison, Arkansas. It serves the citizens of Boone and surrounding counties in northern Arkansas. Northark has two campuses in Harrison.

The local weather climate is fairly mild, however, as mentioned previously there can be extremes. Flooding has occurred in the past leading to the need for water damage restoration. Some winters can be extreme with extreme cold and ice events. Many locals use wood heat sources which raises the risk of a fire loss and leads to the need for fire damage restoration. SERVPRO professionals are available year-round and 24/7 to help with these needs. The local franchise has the backing of over five decades of experience with the national SERVPRO brand. SERVPRO is always ready to make it "Like it never even happened."

As OEM Director of Izard County, I requested SERVPRO (Bruce Sanders) to come and give their presentation to my fire chiefs after learning that they had more to offer that JUST clean up and clean carpets. All the plans got interfered with by COVID-19. Fast forward more than a year later, Bruce Sanders and Mark Tyer came out and gave a great and informative presentation. I received good feedback from my fire chiefs. Thank you both very much!

SERVPRO developed an Emergency Ready Plan for the Flippin School District (a complete listing of every electrical, water and gas shutoff in the district and emergency numbers to each service) they included photos of the preferred entrance to the building and the shutoff itself. What a great service provided free of charge to the school districts! They provided each office with a hard copy as well as an app that contains the information. I can now carry this information with me (via the app) 24/7.
