About Us
Our History
Stuart Andrus first opened SERVPRO® of Greater Covington and Mandeville in 2009 with the help of his nephew, one green van, and a few pieces of equipment. Since then, our team has grown to be the largest full-time restoration crew on the Northshore operating from a 15,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled building with hundreds of pieces of professional restoration equipment. We have now helped thousands of homeowners and business owners throughout St. Tammany Parish and the entire Greater New Orleans region.

We frequently sponsor local charity events, host blood drives at our office, and teach continuing education classes for insurance professionals. Not all heroes wear capes! Sometimes they show up on a Saturday evening when you think your house is falling apart. After an entire week of dealing with a water issue in my home, having multiple people in and out assessing the damage, and being told I could be looking at anywhere from $10,000 to possibly $30,000 in repairs, I was beyond stressed. I had been told there was water damage in my walls, vanity, cabinets, and other areas and had already started preparing myself and my home for a massive project. Then Corey walked in. He thoroughly assessed everything and quickly determined that I did NOT have the extensive damage I had been led to believe I had. In fact, there was only one very small area that actually needed to be addressed. Just like that, six days of stress disappeared. I could finally breathe. I am so grateful for his honesty!! He could have easily gone along with what I had already been told, and I would have never known the difference. Instead, he was honest about what actually needed to be done and, just as importantly, what did NOT need to be done. After determining that the damage was so minimal that I could cancel the insurance claim I had opened, he even popped the trim off for me and offered to help remove the carpet I had already pulled up. And did I mention he did all of this on a SATURDAY EVENING? He came out because I genuinely believed I had an emergency on my hands based on everything I had previously been told. Corey saved me from an enormous amount of unnecessary stress, work, and expense. Thank you, Corey, for your professionalism, kindness, and, most of all, your honesty. I had a great experience with SERVPRO after having my vents cleaned. The team was friendly, professional, and hardworking. They did a thorough job and cleaned up everything nicely when they were finished. I really appreciate the great service and would definitely recommend them!

This past Wednesday I had my toilet decide to flood half my house. Dealing with insurance and getting people out as soon as possible. ServPro was there quickly. DJ, Anthony and Austin all did diligent work and made sure they could save what was possible. They are all truly respectful and never showed any signs of anger with me asking lots and lots of questions. If I could give these three a raise I would. Thank you again for always explaining and getting the house back to as normal as can be right now.
