Thank you so much to Steve and his crew for helping me through this disaster they were honest trustworthy and hard-working they did exactly what they said they would do it the same price they came in at there was no games I appreciate all they did. They responded immediately and anytime I had a question they they responded immediately and anytime I had a question they answered quickly I felt like I was in the best hands possible during my flood.
Epic storms came to Lake County, IL and caused immense amounts of damage to property. We needed help. So the calls went out and SERVPRO responded - FROM KENTUCKY!
They showed up on time, assessed the situation, told us what it would cost, and when they could get the crew here. Consider that they drove 10-12 hrs to get up here, and went right to work meeting with customers.
When we met the managers, they hadn't even stopped to eat yet (so we had to introduce them to Lou Malnati's Pizza). A day or two later when it was our turn to meet their crew, we were pleased to meet some really great people. We got everything moved out of the room and into the PODS container, and right after that they went right into removing all the water damaged walls, insulation, and flooring.
These guys were friendly, and unbelievably hard working. They attacked the problem from 7AM and didn't finish at our location until about 5PM. I had to practically force them to go to lunch. The manager came back from another customer to our location about 7PM to get the blowers and dehumidifiers going, and to pick up some debris left over from the demolition that wouldn't fit in the truck on the first round. And then he was off to three more jobs that night - to take care of people that needed help.
I thought my wife and I had it rough with clean up until I learned that the manager had pulled 112 hours in 7 days, and he was off to take care of more.
Everything they promised, they delivered on. We had family with issues related to the storm - we introduced our new Manager buddy - Steve - to them. By the by - when this first happened, we called ServiceMaster and SERVPRO. ServiceMaster NEVER even bothered to call back. SERVPRO was "johnny on the spot" from the word go. Hopefully this kind of event never happens again, but if it does - we're just going to call SERVPRO.
