We had a huge leak from our Chiller system that dumped 100s of gallons of pink liquid in a 2nd-floor mechanical room. This drained through the flooring spaces, through the ceiling, to the first floor onto some of our lounge furniture. This occurred at 8:00 PM on a Saturday. SERVPRO was on the spot in minutes and us ready for Church Services by 7:00 AM on Sunday. They finished the clean-up and drying out the next week and we avoided any structural or finish work repairs. The school district for which I serve as superintendent had two separate pipes burst following sub-zero temperatures that are very uncommon for our region of the country. When I received the call on Christmas morning about water covering a major portion of the court in our sports arena, I knew exactly who to call. Mickey with SERVPRO Jonesboro answered my call on the second ring while he was having Christmas breakfast with his family. He along with his project manager Erik and the rest of their team were onsite to assess the situation and install air blowers within two hours of my call. Now that is what I call service! We had the same experience four days later when a busted water line filled the orchestra pit and impacted carpeting and rooms in our fine arts center. Even though there was limited equipment available with so many homes, schools, and businesses in our area affected by broken sprinkler lines and busted pipes, Mickey and Erik responded by making us a priority and securing the needed air blowers and dehumidifiers to address our needs. The SERVPRO team promptly answering our calls, following up to check on our damaged areas, and doing everything in their power to meet our needs is what I will always remember. Meet the Owner
Cary Park spent his childhood in Newbern, TN. He is a 1998 graduate of Dyer County High School. While working for UPS, he began working as a temp for SERVPRO of Dyersburg/Union City. Following being hired full-time at SERVPRO working as a technician, he had the opportunity to purchase a new franchise for SERVPRO of Jonesboro. He attended NFTP in August 2000 and opened for business on September 1, 2000. Cary met his wife April in 2001, at the time she attended Union University in Jackson, TN. Following her graduation in 2006, they wed on October 27, 2007. She does not work in the business but rather at Nettleton Schools as a Paraprofessional. Later they graciously adopted both of their children, Wyatt & Cadie.
