- Bodily fluids
- Decomposing tissue
Our professionals are trained to deal with these unique and sensitive issues using specialized, state-of-the-art equipment. We focus on ensuring that your home or business can return to a clean and safe environment as quickly as possible.

Death and Suicide
Discovering the remains of someone who’s passed away is a shocking and tragic experience. SERVPRO understands and is here to help, bringing compassion and the necessary tools and resources to discreetly clean, disinfect, and deodorize the affected area.
Suicide presents many hardships. Your peace of mind is important to us, and our discreet and speedy cleanup and sanitization process will ease your stress. We’re dedicated to providing speedy, discreet, and considerate cleanup so you can concentrate on your family or business affairs.

Hoarding Cleanup
Dealing with extreme clutter seems like an impossible task. Where do I start? How do I remove everything? How do I ensure that it’s sanitary? SERVPRO can provide the answers, expertise, and resources to bring your property back to a sanitary and habitable space.

Rodent Infestation
No one likes sharing their space with unsanitary intruders. They eat your wires and ductwork, urinate and defecate in your attics and walls, and cause real anxiety. We will thoroughly disinfect and clean your home or business to “make it like it never even happened.”

Viruses & Pathogens
Through our Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned program, we offer a specialized viral pathogen deep cleaning service that ensures that you and your space are both healthy and clean. SERVPRO can assist with C diff, HIV-1, Norovirus, MRSA, and many other viruses and bacteria.

Illicit Substances
The production and use of illegal drugs can result in exposure to volatile and harmful chemicals. Our professionals follow federal and state guidelines when cleaning and decontaminating the affected areas of your home or business.

Chemicals and Residues
Our technicians specialize in the safe, thorough removal of chemical residues left behind after emergencies, law enforcement activity, or industrial accidents. We can handle a wide range of hazardous materials and contamination scenarios, such as:
- Fingerprint powder
- Tear gas
- Pepper spray
- Fire extinguishers
SERVPRO follows all OSHA and EPA guidelines to make sure all chemical contaminants are safely removed, leaving your space clean, compliant, and habitable.

Squad Cars and Jail Cells
Keeping our first responders safe and healthy is a top priority. Contaminants and biohazards like:
- Blood
- Drug Residue
- Bodily Fluids
must be removed and the affected area decontaminated to ensure safety, compliance, and peace of mind.

What To Do When You Have A Biohazard Emergency
The need for biohazard or hazmat cleaning usually comes with little or no warning. And it can be truly overwhelming.
Dealing with hazardous materials is best left to experienced, certified professionals. But if you find yourself in such a traumatic incident, here are a few important things to remember.
Call Emergency Personnel
Emergency services should be called in a life-threatening situation.
Do Not Attempt Any Cleaning Yourself
Cleaning of any kind could interfere with a possible investigation and expose you to harmful contaminated materials.
Stay Out Of The Area
Stay out of any affected areas. There may be potentially dangerous hazardous materials left behind.
Treat All Bodily Fluids As Contaminated
Do not touch or handle items that might be contaminated with extremely harmful bodily fluids. And always treat bodily fluids as if they’re contaminated.

Simplifying Insurance
We make insurance claims easier, with fewer headaches for you. We handle the details and coordinate any paperwork, so you can focus on moving forward.
We will thoroughly document the damage and communicate clearly with you and your insurance company throughout the process.
Your insurance provider trusts SERVPRO to respond quickly—we address biohazard issues swiftly to ensure the safety of all concerned, prevent further damage, control costs, and keep the insurance process moving smoothly.

"The ladies were wonderful and did an amazing job cleaning. They were so friendly and I would have them in my house again if I ever needed it. Thank you all so much for a great job"
We had a septic backup in our basement in October 2019. We were like deer in the headlights. No idea where to turn or what to do. One simple phone call to SERVPRO and it was like a weight lifted off our shoulders. They came in, gave us our options and explained what they would do. The very next day they were at our house cleaning up the mess. Our basement looks brand new. I can't thank Jake and the rest of staff enough for their patience, knowledge and hard work. Truly the bright spot in a miserable situation. Thanks again!

- Compassion: Fire & water damage emergencies are always traumatic and, in most cases, may be the first time a client has experienced such a disaster. Our first objective is to make a client feel comfortable as we walk them through the restoration process following an unsettling experience. It is of utmost importance to build a trust with the client from the initial phone call.
- Customer Satisfaction: The most important piece of any emergency restoration project is the satisfaction of the client. Every service we perform during a water or fire damage cleanup is done in the interest of gaining complete approval and contentment from that client. We want to make certain that their experience with SERVPRO of Cheshire County is a great one.
- Community: Part of gaining the trust of our clients and the towns and cities around us is having a positive impact on our local community. We believe that strong involvement in local charities, events, groups and associations is essential in reflecting positively in our community.
History:
- SERVPRO of Cheshire County was founded in 1978. Ownership was taken over by Richard and Susan Paul in 1988. Both Richard and Susan are from the area and still reside in Cheshire County today. In 2002, Richard and Susan’s oldest son Ryan came on board full-time as an Estimator and Project Manager. A year later, younger son Derek joined the family-owned and operated franchise. Both Ryan and Derek grew up in Cheshire County attending Keene High School and Keene State College. Now over 30 years into their family’s ownership, Ryan and Derek Paul are handling day-to-day operations as Co-Owners of the business along with Ryan’s wife Melissa who began her role as Office Manager in 2011. Ryan manages business operations while Derek is Director of Marketing. Together, the three hope to continue to maintain the shining reputation that was created by Richard and Susan over 30 years ago.
