Why Choose SERVPRO for HVAC and Air Vent Service?

A healthy living environment starts with clean air. If the air coming out of your vents smells musty, or your air vents look dirty, it’s probably time for an HVAC and air duct cleaning from SERVPRO®.

Each time your HVAC system circulates, your air ducts collect dust, dirt, and other airborne particulates that were missed by the air filter. In just one year, a typical home can collect more than 40 pounds of dirt, dust, and particles. Everyday housecleaning can get most of it, but it takes a professional cleaning service like SERVPRO to clean air ducts effectively.

Schedule a routine air duct cleaning if:

  • You have pets living in your home.
  • You have allergies or asthma.
  • You smoke.
  • Your home has suffered fire or smoke damage
  • Your home has been renovated or is being remodeled.

Benefits of clean air ducts:

  • Improved indoor air quality (reduced bacteria, allergens, pet dander, etc.).
  • Increased energy efficiency (clogged vents make your HVAC system work harder).
  • Longer life for your HVAC system.

SERVPRO of Cheshire County's uniquely trained technicians follow industry standards for air duct cleaning services as defined by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).

We use specialized equipment and proprietary products to clean and sanitize the mechanical components of your HVAC duct and air duct system while controlling the airflow in the healthiest way possible during the duct cleaning process.

Things You Should Know about HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning

First, system access to the duct interiors should be made through existing openings. This could be via:

  • Return grills.
  • Duct end caps.
  • Existing service openings.

Your SERVPRO technician will often begin by breaking contaminants loose from your system, either by hand or using a vacuum, to agitate dirt and dust. This is a basic, but important step in the HVAC cleaning process.

SERVPRO uses a variety of tools and equipment. It might be mounted on a truck, or they may use portable vacuums. Chemicals may also be used to help sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize air ducts.

We had a septic backup in our basement in October 2019. We were like deer in the headlights. No idea where to turn or what to do. One simple phone call to SERVPRO and it was like a weight lifted off our shoulders. They came in, gave us our options and explained what they would do. The very next day they were at our house cleaning up the mess. Our basement looks brand new. I can't thank Jake and the rest of staff enough for their patience, knowledge and hard work. Truly the bright spot in a miserable situation. Thanks again!

About Us

Compassion, Customer Satisfaction and Community: At SERVPRO of Cheshire County, we believe these are the cornerstones of a successful emergency restoration business. We make sure these qualities are achieved and upheld daily.

  • Compassion: Fire & water damage emergencies are always traumatic and, in most cases, may be the first time a client has experienced such a disaster. Our first objective is to make a client feel comfortable as we walk them through the restoration process following an unsettling experience. It is of utmost importance to build a trust with the client from the initial phone call.
  • Customer Satisfaction: The most important piece of any emergency restoration project is the satisfaction of the client. Every service we perform during a water or fire damage cleanup is done in the interest of gaining complete approval and contentment from that client. We want to make certain that their experience with SERVPRO of Cheshire County is a great one.
  • Community: Part of gaining the trust of our clients and the towns and cities around us is having a positive impact on our local community. We believe that strong involvement in local charities, events, groups and associations is essential in reflecting positively in our community.

History:

  • SERVPRO of Cheshire County was founded in 1978. Ownership was taken over by Richard and Susan Paul in 1988. Both Richard and Susan are from the area and still reside in Cheshire County today. For over 10 years, the Paul's stayed focused on providing the area with the very best in fire & water restoration services and building positive awareness through compassion, customer satisfaction and community involvement. In 2002, Richard and Susan’s oldest son Ryan came on board full-time as an Estimator and Project Manager. A year later, younger son Derek joined the family-owned and operated franchise. Both Ryan and Derek grew up in Cheshire County attending Keene High School and Keene State College. Now over 30 years into their family’s ownership, Ryan and Derek Paul are handling day-to-day operations as Co-Owners of the business along with Ryan’s wife Melissa who began her role as Office Manager in 2011. Ryan manages business operations while Derek is Director of Marketing. Together, the three hope to continue to maintain the shining reputation that was created by Richard and Susan over 30 years ago.

Community:

  • Each member of the Paul family has a long history and deep roots in Cheshire County and involvement in the local community has always been important to them. The same holds true for SERVPRO of Cheshire County as each member feels it’s vital to the business’s local image. From participation and sponsorship in youth sports, town government, school clubs, local charities and events, industry boards and associations, community involvement has not only been a fixture in their personal lives but has had a tremendous impact on their positive image in the community.
