Why Choose SERVPRO for HVAC and Air Vent Service?

A healthy living environment starts with clean air. If the air from your vents smells musty or your vents look dirty, it’s probably time for HVAC and air duct cleaning from SERVPRO of Henry & Randolph Counties.

Each time your HVAC system runs, your air ducts collect dust, dirt, and other airborne particulates that the air filter misses. In just one year, a typical home can accumulate more than 40 pounds of dirt, dust, and particles. Everyday housecleaning can remove most of it, but only a professional cleaning service like SERVPRO of Henry & Randolph Counties can clean air ducts effectively.

Schedule routine air duct cleaning if:

  • You have pets in your home
  • You have allergies or asthma
  • You smoke
  • Your home has experienced fire or smoke damage
  • Your home has been renovated or is being remodeled

Benefits of clean air ducts:

  • Improved indoor air quality (fewer bacteria, allergens, pet dander)
  • Increased energy efficiency (clogged vents make your HVAC system work harder)
  • Longer life for your HVAC system

SERVPRO of Henry & Randolph Counties’ uniquely trained technicians follow industry standards for air duct cleaning as defined by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).

We use specialized equipment and proprietary products to clean and sanitize the mechanical components of your HVAC and air duct system while safely and efficiently controlling airflow during the cleaning process.

Things You Should Know about HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning

First, system access to the duct interiors should be made through existing openings. This could be via:

  • Return grills.
  • Duct end caps.
  • Existing service openings.

Your SERVPRO technician will often begin by breaking contaminants loose from your system, either by hand or using a vacuum, to agitate dirt and dust. This is a basic, but important step in the HVAC cleaning process.

SERVPRO uses a variety of tools and equipment. It might be mounted on a truck, or they may use portable vacuums. Chemicals may also be used to help sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize air ducts.

What our
customers are saying

We had SERVPRO come out to perform mold remediation in our basement after significant water damage, and we were very pleased with the service they provided. From the beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the remediation process and answer our questions. They were thorough in addressing the mold-affected areas and made sure the basement was properly treated and cleaned. After everything we had already been through with the flooding and damage to our home, it was reassuring to have a company come in that knew exactly what needed to be done. The crew was courteous, respectful of our home, and kept us informed throughout the process. We really appreciated their attention to detail and the peace of mind they gave us knowing the mold issue had been professionally addressed. I would definitely recommend SERVPRO to anyone dealing with water damage or mold remediation. Thank you to the entire team for helping us get our basement one step closer to being back to normal!

They brought equipment to the house and checked on it every now and then. As far as actual clean up, we had all of that work ourselves. The employees were good at the start and so-so in the end. Overall the price was reasonable for the short notice. In response to your post, the overall service wasn't an issue. The job was done as discussed. We did the clean up and were told that the company had a lot of places dealing with bigger issues. That was totally fine and understood so that was a factual statement above that could've been misinterpreted. Calls were made to check on the status of the situation and were replied to all but one time that was missed. As far as daily checks not happening because you couldn't reach us, I wouldn't try to use that. We had conversations with the guy that helped us. Some of the calls were to come by to check things out and the others were to let us know they couldn't make it due to other jobs being bigger issues. Once again, it was totally fine due to the flooding that had happen. At no point did I feel like we were neglected in the process and I completely understood that other people were dealing with much worse things than us. The employees were very friendly and professional so maybe good wasn't the right term. The so-so portion was my final conversation that was just a "Can we come get our stuff?" That was literally all that was said by your associate during that call. Then when they came to pick, not a word was spoken by that associate. Just walked in grabbed the equipment and walked out. The other employee was friendly during the visit though. I didn't need a full conversation during the visit but the way it happen was an issue. It was probably a had to be there moment which you were not and that is okay. I was just putting it out there. Your office worker was absolutely friendly and professional when I came it pay the invoice, which was a great end to the process. Basically I get it was a historic event that unfolded as you stressed during your reply. I'm not saying this business shouldn't be used because they were fast and helpful during the process. Other places asked for almost triple what I was offered as a price. We were thankful for the service they provided during our situation. Just needed to clarify some things and address the slightly sarcastic reply. After thinking about it, a rating of 3 is low for the minimal issues that occurred.

I cannot say enough good things about the service, honesty, and attention we received from SERVPRO of New Castle. Our situation happened during what felt like the storm of the century, with extensive flooding throughout our town, so I knew their team had to be completely overwhelmed helping people dealing with serious water damage. At the same time, we were in the middle of selling our home, and the buyer’s inspection raised a questionable concern about possible mold in our crawl space. Everything with a home sale is time sensitive, so I went directly to the SERVPRO office and explained the situation to Jessi. From that first interaction, she was wonderful. She listened to what was happening, understood why we needed an answer quickly, and spoke with her team to see what they could do. Considering everything they were dealing with because of the storms, I was honestly amazed and extremely grateful that they made arrangements to come to our home the very next day for a complete inspection. Roy was the person who came out, and I could not have asked for anyone better. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and did everything with a smile. More importantly, he was thorough and honest. He knew we were selling our home, knew we were under a time constraint, and knew that I was concerned about the possibility of mold. It would have been very easy for someone in that situation to tell me there was mold and turn it into a large remediation job. Instead, Roy took his time and went throughout the entire crawl space. He scraped and tested the questionable areas rather than simply looking at them and making an assumption. After carefully inspecting everything, he determined that there was no mold. What the buyer’s inspection had questioned was actually residual staining from a previous professional treatment, along with baking soda my husband had added at that time to help absorb the remaining odor. Roy could have easily taken advantage of our situation, especially knowing how important it was for us to resolve the issue quickly so our home sale could move forward, but he did exactly the opposite. He gave us an honest assessment even though that meant there was no remediation job for SERVPRO to perform. That says a tremendous amount about Roy and about the company he represents. There are not many companies anymore where you can walk through the door during an extremely stressful situation and genuinely feel that the people helping you are looking out for you rather than looking for a way to make more money from the problem. From Jessi taking our situation seriously and finding a way to get someone to us so quickly during widespread flooding, to Roy being incredibly thorough, professional, and honest during the inspection, every person I had contact with treated us exceptionally well. SERVPRO of New Castle made a stressful situation much easier, and I would recommend them without hesitation. This is exactly the kind of local company I want to turn to when I need help because I know I am dealing with people I can trust.

About Us

Committed to Service
Service. It’s something John and Delmy Mantor take seriously, and it’s why they opened SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties in 2009. The Mantors wanted a way to help the people around them and to serve them in their time of need. For the first year, John operated the business from a home office and as the business grew, they moved into a larger office located on South Main Street in New Castle. The franchise continued to grow and expand causing a need for a larger facility to house the increased number of team members and equipment. In the summer of 2014 SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties relocated to their current location near the main campus of Henry Community Health on North 16th Street in New Castle.

Committed to Our Community
John and Delmy have called New Castle home since 1999. They raised two sons within this community and developed lasting friendships with many families and friends throughout Henry County. Delmy is very active in the community helping wherever she is needed. You can often see her helping out with local charities or helping members of their church who need an extra hand. John can be found on the ball diamonds during baseball season, as he is an avid ball player and coaches Babe Ruth baseball. John does a lot in the community with Breakfast Optimist as well. New Castle is home to the entire team here at SERVPRO of Henry and Randolph Counties, allowing us to be invested in the future of our community and our customers’ needs. As we’ve grown, our mission has never changed. We serve the people, the businesses, and the organizations of Henry and Randolph Counties that help make our community great.
