January 2017, we awoke to our granddaughter’s anxious voice telling us there was water all over in the downstairs level of our home ruptured water. Even the kitchen had flooded our lower level during the night. Our immediate reaction was a feeling of helplessness. We did the usual, turned the water off, power to outlets, etc. Icu heating system and ductwork was all flooded into our basement. When we opened the door to the basement it looked like a waterfall!

When it finally set in, the damage and the dauting task ahead, we were at a loss as to where to begin. We outreached the SERVPRO team if GHPC and that afternoon they were at or home. The most to compact us was reassuring us that they would help us through the whole process step by step. They were here for the Insurance adjuster assessment and helped us in giving some direction for contractors that are experienced in water damage restoration. We chose Prosch Construction who proved to be a loyal advocate and our losses and succeeded his efforts to ensure our damaged floors and other unique losses were replaced. Owner Dean and operating project manager Teresa visited the site and communicated regularly to ensure the site to ensure the process moved a long a quickly as possible. The SERVPRO team members and managers always performed their responsibilities, respectfully diligently and professionally. They we even offered to rehang pictures and put dishes and collectables back were originally! Amazing!

We never felt alone in this process, the one on one genuine care was received from this business and associates friendly made a very difficult experience now seem like distant memory. Our beautiful home has been restored but lastly, we wanted to acknowledge the outstanding SERVPRO team as well as Prosch Construction for their efforts on behalf of their community and neighbors in need! We had a water catastrophe and called SERVPRO. They were there in less than a half hour! They got to work and told me they needed to pull up some flooring. I had my two-year-old granddaughter who wasn't feeling too great and I thought, How am I going to pack up all of my hutch on such short notice?? But I didn't have to lift a finger! I took the grandbaby to lunch while Monica carefully packed all my Memaw's dishes. I came back to a tidy stack of neatly labeled boxes! The rest of my experience was more of the same incredible service. We ended up having to replace quite a bit in our home, which required the removal of almost everything in the house. The day that we had to move everything out of the house, the staff members took the utmost care in packing, labeling, and inventorying everything. A month later, theory big truck brought back our belongings. As I was unpacking, I was very impressed by the care with which staff had packed things. I was worried about what to do with the enormous amount of boxes and paper, (every box was new and still in great shape except for the labeling) but I found out... SERVPRO re-purposes all of it! The staff was just as friendly and efficient as before. One thing I noticed when they were here at the beginning packing the house up... it was hot weather, and I saw a lot of them had various drinks, which is good, you want to stay hydrated. When they left though, there was not one single empty bottle or even a bottle cap to be found on my property! Super professional! So, my update is 5 more stars!
