Meet Our Team

Justin Shomaker is our General Manager. He studied Marketing and Business at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He began his career with SERVPRO in 2004 as a marketer for SERVPRO of Kempsville/Military Circle. In 2006, he accepted a marketing position with SERVPRO of Suffolk/Smithfield/Franklin. As our franchise grew, so did his involvement with the day-to-day operations. Today, Justin oversees all aspects of our business. He truly enjoys helping our team and receives great satisfaction in helping our customers recover from losses in their homes and businesses.

Teresa is our Office Manager/Human Resources/Accounting/Payroll specialist. She joined the team in October 2016 and brings over 25 years of experience specializing in sales, marketing, and product/service branding. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, cooking, beach days, and time at the family vacation home in Salvo.

Shane is our Production Manager and has been with our team for over 15 years. He holds multiple certifications, including Lead Renovation, Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Water Damage Restoration, and Employee Certification Training Program (ECTP) for Crew Training, Water Certification, and Fire Certification. When he is away from work, he enjoys family time with his wife and 3 daughters, spending time at his local Church, bass fishing, hunting, & Motocross.

With over 2½ years at the company and more than five years of prior experience as an insurance adjuster, Daniella serves as our Job File Coordinator, bringing strong industry knowledge and attention to detail. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, spending time with her mini dachshund, and tinkering with classic muscle cars.

Fred recently joined us as our Reconstruction Manager. He is a Finish Carpenter by trade with 20 years of experience across multiple facets of the construction industry. Fred is a Hampton Roads native born in Portsmouth and currently resides in Suffolk, VA. In his downtime, he enjoys golf, fishing, skateboarding, painting, & cooking.

Antwan came to us from Norfolk Naval Shipyard and has been with us for 6 years. He is one of our Crew Chiefs, IICRC Water Mitigation certified, and prides himself on being reliable, self-aware, and resilient. He strives to give his all and be the calm in stressful situations. His great communication and organization skills are a valuable asset to our team. He came from a hard-working family and cherishes time with them on his days off.

Brandon joined our team 7 years ago after spending 6 years in the Army at Fort Carson. He is one of our valuable Crew Chiefs. He is IICRC-Certified in Water Mitigation, which is an asset when he mentors, encourages, and trains our technicians, as well as helps our customers in their time of need. Brandon values being part of his local communities in Portsmouth & Chesapeake, spending time with friends and family, and traveling when he is not on the job.

Margaret is one of our Crew Chiefs, bringing over 12 years of invaluable experience in water, fire, mold, and storm damage to our team. She is IICRC-certified in Water Restoration, and her efficiency, attention to detail, and calm under pressure are assets to us all. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kamryn, a Crew Chief with us, has 5 years of experience in restoration and mitigation with SERVPRO, bringing strong hands-on knowledge and a commitment to quality service. She is IICRC-Certified in Water Mitigation and takes pride in her work, as evidenced by her professionalism, reliability, and teamwork. Outside of her career, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.

Chris is one of our Crew Chiefs and has 7 years of experience, starting from the bottom and working his way up. He is IICRC certified in Water Restoration, Applied Microbial Remediation, Advanced Structural Drying, and Health & Safety.

Ben is one of our Production Technicians and has almost 2 years of experience with us. He values time with his family, fishing, hunting, and golf when he is not working.

Garrett is one of our newest Production Technicians, bringing eight years of experience as a Lineman. His career gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world and gain a wide range of hands-on expertise. Outside of work, Garrett enjoys cooking, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with his dog.
