Our home flooded late Thursday evening. We were stressed and of course saddened by the days events. With 3 small children and another on the way we knew what an absolute headache juggling so many things would be over the next 48hrs. We couldn’t have been more wrong! Had a water damage. Called SERVPRO of Spartanburg late on the weekend. They were here with two trucks in timely fashion. Couldn’t have asked for better help! Their entire crew was very helpful throughout the entire job. 10’s across the board.
In mid April a commode tank in a central hall powder room started leaking and emptied on the floors for more than 8 hours before I discovered the leak. That leak took out about 1/3 of my hardwood floors. My insurance company directed me to immediately call SERVPRO. They came in that same day and started the process of drying out the affected area. Well, here I am going into the middle of June and Dallas Gunn and his team are still diligently working with me to put my home back together. The drying process only lasted a little over a week, but SERVPRO does so much more. They tore the affected floors, arranged for pods to be brought out, moved my furniture into the pods, introduced me to a reputable contractor, and when things are complete, they will move me back in. It is rare for me to find someone or a company to meet my expectations but Dallas and his team has been successful in doing so. This company and their employees are trustworthy and they stand behind their word and work. I highly recommend using SERVPRO.
The SERVPRO crew was always professional. We suffered severe water damage to upstairs and stairs. We were shocked, not knowing what, where to go or how to begin. Although they did a good job, after seeing your crew in action handling basically the same situation in the same area, I feel the other company's methods were more intrusive and we ended up spending more money than we needed to. On May 21st, our church secretary discovered water leaking through the ceiling and fallen ceiling tiles in the lower level of the church. She was directed to call SERVPRO immediately. Happily - and surprisingly, within twenty minutes or so, several vehicles and personnel were on the spot and immediately began to survey the situation and started the clean-up process.
Every SERVPRO employee that I personally spoke to was busy, yet kind and considerate of the stress and concern that we found ourselves to be in.
