The mold cleanup and restoration process begins when you call us. Our specialist will ask a series of questions to help us determine the necessary equipment, resources, and personnel needed for you and your home.
Inspection and Mold Damage Assessment
Our professionals will carefully inspect your property for visible signs of mold. Using a variety of technologies, we can detect mold and locate any hidden water sources so the mold will not return once the area is cleaned and the mold removal process has been completed.
Mold Containment
We use various containment procedures to prevent the spread and cross-contamination of mold. All fans and heating and cooling systems will be turned off to prevent the spread as our professionals work to mitigate your mold problem.
Air Filtration
Our specialized filtration equipment allows our professionals to capture microscopic mold spores out of the air. We utilize powerful “air scrubbers” and HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.
Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials
We use antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to treat mold colonies. When necessary to remediate heavy mold growth, our mold removal process includes the removal and disposal of mold-infested porous materials such as carpeting, drywall, and insulation.
Cleaning
Our professionals clean the structural elements that were infected by mold such as flooring, framing, fixtures, HVAC and mechanical systems. The HVAC system and ducts also needed cleaning as they were coated with the chimney residue. SERVPRO did a terrific job, using separate teams for the house, furniture and HVAC, and referring us to others for the remaining items. The SERVPRO people were professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and totally engaged in what turned out to be a ~ 3 week project. Our thanks especially to the team of cleaners (Rocio, Ruth, Trisha, Heidy, and most particularly their leader, Norma) who were not only fantastic but also friendly, caring and helpful throughout the cleaning. Truly, their efforts and positive attitude converted what really was a nightmare into a reasonably bearable event for my wife and me. I can’t recommend this office of SERVPRO and their people more highly.
SERVPRO of New Cumberland/Carlisle did a great job restoring our store that was devastated by a sewage leak. They completed the demolition as well as the remediation and restoration for all walls/areas affected. They worked professionally and communicated frequently with updates. They documented all steps of the process with pictures for us and followed all directions given. I would not hesitate to call this team again if my store ever needed additional restoration services.

Our experience with SERVPRO’s team of professionals has been excellent. Octavius, Shawn, and Alex were so friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the task at hand. They put us at ease the minute they walked in our house and answered all of our questions promptly. We have two little ones and they were super accommodating with the kids. Water damage is scary but they took the stress out. Highly recommend!!!
So thankful for Tony and Matt! They truly came to the rescue when our garden hose line split inside our house. What a mess! Tony and Matt moved our personal belongings quickly, and checked the property daily until no moisture remained. Only carpet and a small section of ceiling drywall needed to be replaced. So glad these guys were available to help on a weekend. Our situation would have been much worse without them!
