Meet Our Team

Our SERVPRO of Alpena team draws on decades of experience in property restoration. From initial and ongoing training at SERVPRO’s Corporate Training Facility to regular IICRC industry certifications, rest assured our staff is equipped with the knowledge to restore your property.

Owner of SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan since 1999, and becoming sole owner in 2005. Doug’s experience in the industry started with him working for Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance for 8 years as a Senior Adjuster, AIC, then co-owner of SERVPRO^®; of Saginaw from 1998-2004, which is recognized as the Extreme Team. Originally, Doug Bailey started the SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan franchise. After establishing the Gaylord & Cheboygan territory in 2000, Doug then began expanding and running a franchise in the Upper Peninsula in 2009. In late 2019, another expansion was made which added the SERVPRO of Bellaire, Kalkaska, Lake City & Grayling to the servicing area. During the 2024 business year, the purchase of the Alpena franchise was finalized. Doug received his business degree from Northwood University, carries a builder’s license, is certified through the IICRC as a Water Damage Restoration Technician, has taken Mold Remediation Training through Consultants Restoration, and Applied Structural Drying Certification.

Dan brings over 10 years of Commercial Facility Maintenance and Construction experience to SERVPRO’s team of Project Managers since 2015. Dan holds multiple certifications which include Applied Structural Drying, Commercial Drying Specialist, Applied Microbial Remediation Specialist, and being a Lead Certified Professional. Dan focus’ on all aspects of the restoration from the initial mitigation to full building reconstruction. Dan also became a co-owner of our two SERVPRO franchises in 2023. He is now co-owner of the Alpena franchise after the purchase was finalized in 2024. In his time off you can find Dan, his wife and 2 children in Cheboygan immersed in Northern Michigan’s great outdoors from the water to the snow.

Josh joined our team in September of 2016 as part of our Marketing Department and is now working as a Project Manager. Josh graduated from Northwood University in 2016 with a degree in Business Management and has his Water Damage Restoration Certification through the IICRC. Josh is also a Lead Certified Professional. He is looking forward to continuing to further his knowledge and expertise in the restoration industry. Josh also became a co-owner of our two SERVPRO franchises in 2023. He also became co-owner of the Alpena franchise after the purchase was finalized in 2024. In his free time, Josh enjoys fishing and hunting in the great outdoors of Northern Michigan.

David is a Project Manager at SERVPRO of Alpena. He is very experienced. He was a claims adjuster with Farm Bureau Insurance for 14 years specializing in property and liability. He was also a public adjuster in Florida and worked at SERVPRO in Florida for 11 years. He has been with SERVPRO of Alpena for 2 years. He is certified in water removal, mold and fire. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, dirt bikes and quads. He also has two rescue dogs Nova and Shadow.

Juli is a Production Manager with SERVPRO of Alpena. We are fortunate to have Juli on our team. She has 31 years in the industry. She has worked all aspects from secretary, technician, management, marketing and was previously a remediation business owner. She is IICRC certified in water damage, odor control, Fire and Smoke damage, applied structural drying and microbial remediation. Juli resides in Alpena with her two dogs; Ramsey and Dolly, 12 chickens and a beta fish named Bernie.
