We were dealing with a water leak from an old and malfunctioning gutter (I'll pass you the details). We noticed the issue on Saturday. The water had made it to my son's bedroom wall. I called 3 other companies and all I got was an answering machine. Funny how those things always happen on the weekend!
SERVPRO was super responsive. Fabian called me back within a few hours and came the next day to assess the damage. Allen and his crew helped me every step of the way! They set up equipment to dry the room right away.

Jose and his team were very helpful and professional in helping fix extensive water damage through multiple parts of the house. They were communicative through the assessment, demolition, and cleaning process from start to finish. They worked quickly and efficiently to help resolve the issue and were courteous and safe the whole time.
We had major water damage in our kitchen which also damaged the ceiling underneath. The guys from SERVPRO were very professional. They came up with a gadget that correctly identified the affected area and they followed up with the damage control. They are a very skilled & fast serving team. Highly recommended.
This review is long overdue! Truly professionals at work and couldn't be happier with SERVPRO of San Mateo. From calling the office staff, to the technicians that arrived at my home, everything was a smooth and seamless process. No one would ever imagine a refrigerator supply line flooding your entire 1st floor and I thought I would never see the light at the end of the tunnel. But, as soon as these guys arrived onsite they knew exactly what had to be done to get my home to pre loss condition. Can't thank you guys enough, highly highly recommended!
I was visiting my brother who lives in San Fran! Go 49ers!!! 2 weeks ago when we had a major issue with the dishwasher, the machine started dumping water while we were watching the football games in the evening and we didn't notice until the kitchen and part of the dining area was completely soaked! Neither one of us has ever been in a situation like that and it is disconcerting to say the least. We immediately started getting towels but it was just too much water. Our neighbor heard the commotion (it's an apartment building) and gave us the card of some restoration company called SERVPRO of San Mateo. I ended up calling as my brother was wringing out towels in the bathtub. A guy named Stephen answered and I explained the situation. He said he would get somebody out there within 2 hours and that actually happened to my surprise. We ended up stopping the water flow by turning off the valve, but the water that was already on the floor stayed there until SERVPRO of San Mateo came out and sucked it all up with this big green machine that looked kind of like a vacuum with a water tank. They set up some fans and because they came out so quickly, my brothers floors were salvaged. 3 days later they removed the fans and the place was pretty much back to how it was. The dishwasher caused the problems so we asked SERVPRO to dispose of it and they took it and junked it. It was a really old unit so if you have an old dishwasher, be careful! Thank you to Stephen and SERVPRO for the fast response.

I had a roof leak at my home in Burlingame causing significant water damage to two rooms in home. SERVPRO of San Mateo was contacted by my homeowners insurance to mitigate water damage. Fabian, Daniel and Francisco were my angels for several days!! They had to remove all room contents and they did it so carefully and neatly. Equitment was set into rooms for a few days in order to dry the walls etc. Fabian the project manager kept me updated every day with progress and what to expect next. All three gentlemen have a tremendous work ethic,very professional but so kind and thoughtful also. Thank you so much SERVPRO of San Mateo!
Special thanks to SERVPRO of San Mateo for helping me with my water damage due to a failed water heater. My insurance company sent them out and they were awesome - professional, great customer service, responsive to phone calls (telephone calls answered promptly) and wonderful onsite employees to work with. They took great care not to remove fans too early, testing the moisture level of the affected areas frequently so we would not have mold in the future. I especially enjoyed working with the office who helped pack up my items to be stored off the property and then helped unpack after my home was ready after repair. Carolina went above and beyond in trying to meet our needs/requests. She and all the people at SERVPRO of San Mateo crew were fantastic. I would highly recommend this company!
