David and Kyle really hit it out of the park here. After finding out that we had a slab leak with mold all over, their team made the entire restoration process smooth and stress-free. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. I am extremely grateful to David and his team for getting my family back into our home safely. They provided professional, expert and attentive service to remediate smoke and ash damage to my home after the Eaton fire. Tony and Richard were my site managers and did an awesome job! They were always ready to go above and beyond and exceed expectations. As someone that got affected by the recent wildfires in SoCal, specifically the Eaton Fire, I want to write an honest review. I would give servpro lancaster east a 4/5. I believe they do outsource the people they hire to clean properties professionally. First, they did our outside. I would say that Tony and Rich did an amazing job cleaning our whole outside very thoroughly- entire back and front yard, the roofs: mainhouse, backhouse, garage. They also cleaned the driveway, removed all the dried leaves from all the corners of the house. They power washed the walls as well. They even went the extra mile of picking up old furniture and throwing it out for us. I’d give them both a 5/5 rating. Second, they hired people to clean our ducts/vents and I’d say these people also did an amazing job. They made sure all the ducts are well taken care of and even changed the main filter of the house. Before leaving, they checked the attic and saw that it was infested with rat poops, and despite it not being part of their work, they generously offered to clean it for free. 5/5 rating for them too! Highly recommended for them to be hired by the company again! Third, the most important part of the cleaning- the inside of the house. Experiencing a wildfire is a serious matter and since we have a toddler and a senior with respiratory problems that lives in the house, my expectations for this part of the cleaning were very high. There were 5 people in total, and I would rate them a 2/5. They did not clean the way a professional would do it. My family are considered a neat freak and unfortunately I could have done a way better job. How do I know they did not? There were so many surfaces that were left untouched- top of the fridge, top and back of the cabinets, back of the TV, side of the beds, etc…ashes and dust were still present and needed to be redone by myself because I am not risking my child to be inhaling this. If you are paying a lot of money, every corner and contents of the house needed to be cleaned professionally! And that was not met. Super dissatisfied with this part. If the company servpro outsourced these people, I dont recommend hiring them again. It’s a house that got affected by a wildfire and not just a normal day for them to clean it the way they did! Fourth, they had the whole insulation changed- everything new! I am pleased. 5/5 Fifth, they also outsourced someone to steam clean the mattresses and our big couch, and this person did an amazing job! Even removed the stain on our bed! 5/5 So thank you for the people who did their jobs professionally. Just sad about the whole inside cleaning part. ***UPDATE: After writing my review, servpro sent me a message stating that they want to make things right by redoing the cleaning of the inside of our house. The lady who came to clean did an amazing job, apologized on behalf of the previous cleaners, and made sure that I was happy before leaving. Thank you for making it a better experience for me and my family. Appreciate you guys.
