I am very thankful for Servpro! The great service started with my first call. Karen was extremely helpful. She was very kind and professional! I also had assistance with Joe for the demolition and Jason for the restoration as project managers. They were very accessible and answered all of my questions as this was my first time going through this process. Their professionalism and work ethic is fantastic! I am also very grateful for Brayan and Angel. Their attention to detail and hard work is amazing. They worked hard to color match my home and restored the area to fix all of the water damage that had been done. Jason Lincus and Bryan Sanchez and their crews worked diligently to complete the replacement of our huge kitchen island countertop including cutting a huge piece of quartz . They did quality work and were extremely flexible, eager to please and to do their best. They were attentive and prompt and never too busy to respond to our needs Great work! Thanks so much!! Overall ServePro did a fantastic job from complete tear down and mold remediation, and plumbing repairs through to countertop, sink and faucet replacement including electrical. I would like to give 5 stars to ServPro of Fresno NW! We were away from the house when we received a call from a neighbor of water coming out the front door. ServPro went to the house, and immediately removed the furniture, pulled up the water and set up fans, and cutting out the wet drywall. They packed out the house belongings and set videos and pictures of all the items. The remodel project went well, and any bumps were immediately remedied. Our family is extremely pleased with the services provided by ServPro and every one of the staff/employees that we delt with. I highly recommend ServPro of Fresno Northwest!

I can’t say enough for the incredible job that Jason and his team have done to restore our house to its previous beauty after we suffered a sewage backup which affected much of our home. Having a black water flood was extremely traumatic, but once Servrpro brought this team in for reconstruction, the entire trajectory of the experience changed. Before the project started, Jason provided us with a list of all of the different areas being worked on, what day it would take place, and how long it would last. After each day of work, we were provided with an update, and he always answered our questions within just a couple minutes. Having the information at our fingertips put our whole family at ease. On the work end, his team was extremely friendly and professional. They did a great job, and after each day of work, either Jason or his team would walk us through their work and make adjustments as needed. Everything from adding texture, painting walls, replacing carpet, and matching our 20 year old wood floors was done perfectly. The amount of empathy and patience shown to my family and me was incredible. It definitely has felt as though this is more than just a job for these guys. They truly put themselves in their customers’ shoes and have treated our home as if it was their own. I sincerely hope I don’t have another flood, but I know for sure i will call Jason and Servpro if I do. These guys are pros. I cannot sing SERVPRO's praises loud enough. When our house flooded, they responded incredibly quickly and got the mitigation process started right away. From day one, the entire team was fantastic at keeping me informed and working around my schedule. They always called or texted before arriving so I could lock up my dog or arrange for family to be at the house on days I was working. They even called every evening before service days to provide arrival windows, which made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. Every employee we encountered was respectful, professional, and genuinely kind. From the mitigation team to the restoration crew, everyone was outstanding. All of my furniture was moved out for me, carefully stored, and then moved back into my home once the work was complete, which was HUGELY helpful. Everything was returned in pristine condition and handled with great care. Jason, in particular, went above and beyond. He communicated with me nearly every day, constantly providing updates and ensuring there were no unnecessary delays. He always made himself available to answer questions and frequently checked in through calls and texts. What truly stood out was his kindness and genuine care. How to clean up water damage in a home?
When a water emergency occurs in your home or business, it’s only natural to want to take action immediately. Below are some preliminary steps you can take before we arrive, but only attempt what you can do safely.
Shut off the water source, if possible. If you’re not sure where the water is coming from, we’ll inspect and handle the situation as soon as we arrive. If you don’t know how to shut off the water, contact a plumber to help.
Remove excess water by mopping, blotting, or wiping. This could include flooring and hard-surface furniture with standing water on it. Do not use your household vacuum to remove water, since it could cause damage to the vacuum or be unsafe.
Protect carpet, rugs, drapes, and upholstered items from further damage. Place aluminum foil or parchment paper between furniture and wet carpet or rugs. Remove books, magazines, or other colored items from carpets and rugs. Hang draperies up with coated hangers to avoid contact with wet floors. Remove pillows or cushions from wet upholstered items.
Avoid using electric or electronic items that have come into contact with water. This may include items such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, televisions, or appliances. If there is a possibility that someone else on the property may turn on an electric item that has come in contact with water, consider turning off the power to individual circuits within the power distribution panel of the property.

What is water damage restoration?
When water intrudes into a home or business, water damage restoration may be required. Water damage restoration is the professional process of removing unwanted water, drying and cleaning the structure and/or contents, and returning the property to its pre-loss condition. This is completed by professional technicians who are certified to follow industry standards using the proper methods and tools.
Is it safe to stay in a flooded home?
It may not be safe to stay in a flooded home or business. If you come into contact with or ingest flood water, it can make you sick if the water is contaminated. Standing water inside a structure that was inhabited also poses an electrocution risk, as appliances and electrical outlets can continue to be live and energized.
How do you restore water damage?
We’ll inspect your home or business and discuss with you the severity of the damage and our plan for helping return your property to pre-loss condition. We’ll then work to remove the water that shouldn’t be there using pumps and water-extracting tools. Materials that cannot be restored may be removed. Once the excess water is gone, we use dehumidifiers and other specialized drying equipment to help return the area to pre-loss condition. The drying process is then continually monitored. How long does it take to dry out water damage?
Drying out a structure depends on the severity of the water damage that occurred and the type of structure, with an average situation taking 3–5 days. This can vary greatly though, depending on the magnitude of damage, amount of contents affected, any demolition that may be required, and the presence of any hazardous materials.

Water damage can be a serious situation. Water flowing through your home or business can carry with it any contaminants that it has come into contact with. Electrical hazards are common when water damage has occurred, so do not enter the area until it’s deemed safe.

Many homeowner insurance policies do provide some level of coverage in a water damage situation, but you will need to contact your agent for details about your policy. The source of the water damage is important when dealing with insurance. Some flooding related to weather events requires special insurance available through the National Flood Insurance Program.
