Remove the Odor Source
Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.
Clean Residues From Surfaces
After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration
We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

The folks from SERVPRO were wonderful when our church in La Mesa flooded in June, because of a pipe that burst! They got there fast and got busy. They knew what they were doing, but took pains to make sure we understood everything that needed to happen as well. This is the second franchise that Ben and Jordan own, their first being an adjacent SERVPRO territory that they bought several years ago and built from scratch
