Don Elmore is the Owner/CEO of SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa. He has over 20 years of experience and several certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Removal Technician, Applied Structural Drying Technician. He is also licensed by the state & federal government as a Lead Paint Remediation Contractor.

Don enjoys fishing and golfing in his free time. Some of Don's favorite foods are seafood and a great steak!

Jacob Cory is General Manager and part owner at SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa. He has over 20 years of experience and several certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Damage Restoration Technician, Applied Structural Drying Technician, Carpet Repair & Reinstallation Technician, Commercial Drying Specialist, Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, and Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician. He is also a licensed HVAC technician with the State of Alabama and is OSHA certified.

Jacob loves spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoys playing guitar and fishing to relax.

Albert Thompson is one of the owners here at SERVPRO, and has been a part of our team for over a decade. He is certified from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) as a Water Restoration Technician. He leads with approachability, care, and integrity.

Albert enjoys sports and taking his family to Alabama football games. He loves to golf when he gets the opportunity. Albert also enjoys cooking, specifically grilling for his friends and family.

Amy Phillips serves as the Accounts Receivable Specialist and Administrative Assistant at SERVPRO^®; of Tuscaloosa. A true veteran of the team, Amy has been with SERVPRO^®; for 20 years and holds multiple certifications, including ECTP CTC, ECTP Water, and ECTP Fire.

Known for her focus and dedication, Amy has been known to “lock herself” in her office to tune out distractions—but rest assured, the work always gets done! She brings not only experience but also a spark of fun to the office. Amy loves Mexican food, disco balls, Halloween, and a well-executed office prank. Her attention to detail and quick wit make her an irreplaceable part of the SERVPRO^®; family.

Tessa Hardin is the Office Manager at SERVPRO^®; of Tuscaloosa and has been part of the SERVPRO^®; family for over nine years, including time spent with other franchises. She joined the Tuscaloosa team in November 2020 and has since become a cornerstone of the office—known affectionately as the “office mama” thanks to her supportive nature and the trust everyone places in her. Tessa is IICRC certified as a Water Damage Restoration Technician and brings a wealth of knowledge, organization, and care to her role. Originally from Brent, Alabama, she enjoys camping, spending time with her daughters and grandbaby, and is also a certified dog obedience trainer. And yes—her favorite food is still hot dogs!

As a Tuscaloosa native who returned home after serving in the United States Marine Corps, Max re-established his roots in T-Town and began honing his skills in carpentry, welding, and construction. With over 16 years of hands-on experience in the industry, Max completed a rigorous five-year training program with Pipefitters Local 372, gaining expertise in industrial work, plant operations, and construction management. Formerly the head of Construction, Max now serves as SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa’s Operations Manager, and leads with approachability, technical expertise, and the trust he’s cultivated among both coworkers and SERVPRO customers.

Will has been a dedicated member of the SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa team for two years, earning a swift and confident promotion to Production Manager thanks to his loyalty, quick learning, and strong leadership. Known for his reliability, positive attitude, and commitment to going above and beyond, Will leads his crews with integrity and care. He treats every customer interaction with kindness and professionalism. A devoted family man, Will works hard to provide for his loved ones and is the kind of teammate who shows up—whether he’s expected or not.

Devan is a Production Manager at SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa and holds both WRT and CFI-1 FEMA certifications. With over five years of experience in fire remediation and solutions, he brings a deep passion and strong technical knowledge to every project. Devan’s dedication to helping others through the fire restoration process makes him a trusted leader on our team. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, watching movies, and keeping up with pop culture. His expertise, positivity, and team spirit make him an invaluable part of our crew.

A Tuscaloosa native with over 30 years in the industry, Vince brings unmatched experience, dedication, and a great sense of humor to his role as Production Manager at SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa. WRT certified and deeply committed to the work, Vince is known not only for his technical skills but also for his ability to connect with just about everyone he meets—many of whom he’s known for years. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, going to concerts, and tracking down the best BBQ around. His easygoing nature and wealth of knowledge make him a truly valued member of our team.

Also a Tuscaloosa native who returned home after his service to the Marine Corp, Michael re-established roots and began to develop his skills in the carpentry and construction trades. With over 16 years of experience in the construction industry, he oversees the SERVPRO Reconstruction department with excellence and a steadfast commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Michael is known for bringing energy and good vibes wherever he goes. His goofy nature and charming personality make him a favorite among colleagues and clients alike—especially the community’s longtime residents, who appreciate his genuine kindness and old-school chivalry. Michael’s blend of professionalism and fun keeps the team motivated and the workplace lively.
