Kevin Lawton
Kevin Lawton is our General Manager/Estimator. He has been in the restoration and insurance industry for 16 years. He has extensive experience with water, fire, mold, biohazard, and reconstruction losses. He worked as a Special Claims Adjuster for Farmers Insurance before coming to SERVPRO. Prior to that he was a Supervisor at United Parcel Service. He is also in the Army Reserve where he serves as an Army Reserve Career Counselor. He grew up in Central Wisconsin, is married with 3 children and resides in Stevens Point. He likes to spend his free time traveling, in the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Barry Nelson
As our Operations Manager, Barry is in charge of all of our crews and the day to day operations of our business. He assigns our crews to their various jobs, oversees their work, and provides training and assistance where needed.
Barry holds his IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification) Certifications in:

Applied Structural Drying
He is also holds his certification through the State of Wisconsin for Lead-Safe Renovation.
Loraine Erickson
Loraine joined the team in February 2018 and serves as the company's Controller. Loraine has decades of accounting experience in several different industries. Loraine loves seeing small businesses succeed and the impact they can have on local communities. She is excited to be a part of the SERVPRO franchise and the opportunities ahead for the company and it's employees.
In her free time, Loraine loves to watch her two sons compete in sports and loves reading a good book. Loraine also serves as a youth leader at her church.
Loraine completed her accounting degree at UW-Stevens Point and holds a CPA License.
Jamie Wenzel
Jamie joined our team in July of 2021. Jamie brings experience that covers every aspect in insurance, from being a licensed P&C Agent to a Field Property Claims Adjuster. He has been involved in the Restoration Industry in several capacities from being a IICRC certified Restoration Technician, Project Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing for both an Independent and Franchise Restoration business model for nearly 10 years. Jamie also served on the Board of Directors for the MCRA now known as the MCRP (Midwest Cleaning & Restoration Professionals) for over 3 years, along with being an elected Public School Board Official for over 3 years.
In his free time, Jamie enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and being a W.I.A.A. licensed official for over 20 years. Jamie and his wife Heather have 4 amazing children, Taya, Daxtyn, Zayden & Kollyns that keep them on their toes and extremely busy.
Jamie’s lifelong goal is to live by, “The Golden Rule”, you should treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Mary Jo (MJ) Steckel
Mary Jo also known as MJ around the office joined the SERVPRO staff in April of 2020. MJ's favorite part of her job is getting to work with a wide variety of people both within the company and with customers. She says SERVPRO of Stevens Point, Wausau & Marshfield is not just a "company" but it is more like a family as SERVPRO truly cares about their employees and customers. MJ loves working in the customer service role and enjoys being the office manager as she feels these roles make her well rounded and helpful to the company and customers served. She loves being able to help people, especially when they are in need! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, gardening, crafting, traveling & shopping!

I would give SERVPRO 10 stars if I could! We had a dishwasher install gone wrong and our finished basement had significant water damage. I called SERVPRO and they were here the next day to dry everything out. They were extremely responsive and came every single day to check on the drying process in the kitchen and basement. They were extremely flexible with scheduling the repairs. Looking at the finished project, you’d never know we had any sort of damage at all. All of the staff is very professional and friendly. If you have water damage, they are the ones to call!!
They are simply the best mitigation / restoration company in Central Wisconsin and it isn't even close. I have dealt with every company in Central Wisconsin many times as an adjuster and nobody provides the spot on services that SERVPRO of Stevens Point, Wausau, and Marshfield does. They are a one stop shop that gets jobs done. The work on my property was great! In our area they are the only serious choice when it comes to insurance claim work.
I have never had a company treat me as well as SERVPRO. I had frozen pipes last winter and the crew went above and beyond to make my spare bedroom and laundry room look so much better than it did before the damage. The crew didn't hesitate to move furniture to different rooms when asked. I am so pleased, I tell everyone about SERVPRO. They are DEFFINATELY a "class act"!!!
