Called SERVPRO at 4:30 am and a very nice woman answered and said she would have crew out by 7 am. They arrived at 7 am as promised and went to work immediately pumping out water in my basement and bringing in fans and dehumidifiers. Called Travis @ SERVPRO when a unit above our office had their water heater break over the Christmas break - there was 1-2 inches of water throughout the office by Sunday. He was "the man" throughout the process - they came within ~2-3 hours and reached out to the insurance company directly to get approvals. After my electronic claim, he was able to get in touch with them before I even was. Their initial arrival (on a Sunday) was at least 6-8 hours quicker than the neighboring office's abatement company who called their insurance company that morning. Noah was the "feet on the street" or feet on the wet carpet guy who was doing the majority of the work with 1 or 2 other people most days - he was FANTASTIC! Once abated, Travis even had our carpets cleaned and bathroom fixtures put back in - at NO COST - so we could operate with little impact prior to contractors coming in to do repairs and replacements. He explained the whole process from soup to nuts above and beyond what SERVPRO does, including how to interact and work with the insurance company throughout these steps and ensure all of the work for comparable replacements was covered. When I say they went above and beyond, that was an understatement. And they were here checking on everything at least 2x as much as the abatement companies for the other offices / units that were impacted. Kudos to a solid operation, company / franchise location, and employees that take a terrible event and makes it the least bad it can be.
