SERVPRO’s 4-Step Odor Removal Process
Remove the Odor Source
Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.
Clean Residues From Surfaces
After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration
We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.
Seal Surfaces Exposed To Unpleasant Odors
Severe situations may require sealing if odor removal would be insufficient.

Commercial Odor Removal Services
Removing persistent smells from your commercial property—office, warehouse, hospital, apartments, and more—can be quite a challenge. Unpleasant smells can drive customers away and make things difficult for employees. Getting rid of the odor, completely and quickly, can avoid interruption of your normal operations.
Our uniquely trained professionals will work with you to get your company smelling fresh and back to business as quickly as possible, keeping downtime and lost revenue to a minimum.
What Our
Customers Are Saying
The level of response and exceptional customer service makes them a top notch company for us in Cheshire County. A big thanks to Derek Paul as caring member of our community.
"Excellent crew and all around great working experience"
"The ladies were wonderful and did an amazing job cleaning. They were so friendly and I would have them in my house again if I ever needed it. Thank you all so much for a great job"
We had a septic backup in our basement in October 2019. We were like deer in the headlights. No idea where to turn or what to do. One simple phone call to SERVPRO and it was like a weight lifted off our shoulders. They came in, gave us our options and explained what they would do. The very next day they were at our house cleaning up the mess. Our basement looks brand new. I can't thank Jake and the rest of staff enough for their patience, knowledge and hard work. Truly the bright spot in a miserable situation. Thanks again!
"Awesome and excellent job. Thanks."
Pam & Aimee were fantastic! They worked hard and were professional all throughout the day.
Words can't describe how wonderful SERVPRO is. They were here the next day I called for an estimate. Due to the amount of damage that needed to be fixed before they could come in, it took a bit for them to be able to do the job. But they were so patient. The manager I dealt with was kind, very responsive (even though he was out sick) he ensured everything was in order and the crew knew what to do. I came in after the job was done and it was like a brand-new building! I hope I don't need them in the future, but if I do, I will 100% go to SERVPRO.
No recommendations needed to improve this team's performance. The did an amazing job! Great work! The basement was cleaned of all traces of mice. Thank you!
Gary Ruotsala was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process, from coming out to evaluate the job and make an estimate, to accompanying the workers to the job site and explaining what we needed doing. He was also accommodating in altering the original scope of the work due to a changed situation at the home. The two workers got busy immediately – they appeared to have enormous energy and all of the right equipment. They finished at around 2 pm and my brother Bruce and I went down to the basement to look – the transformation was amazing! Bruce was especially impressed with their having moved all of the furniture and building materials (some of it quite heavy) over to the sides of the room. All in all, an excellent and thorough job. I would definitely give SERVPRO a 5-star review. And if we need more work done, we will definitely call again.

In 2002, Richard and Susan’s oldest son Ryan came on board full-time as an Estimator and Project Manager. A year later, younger son Derek joined the family-owned and operated franchise. Both Ryan and Derek grew up in Cheshire County attending Keene High School and Keene State College. Now over 30 years into their family’s ownership, Ryan and Derek Paul are handling day-to-day operations as Co-Owners of the business along with Ryan’s wife Melissa who began her role as Office Manager in 2011. Ryan manages business operations while Derek is Director of Marketing. Together, the three hope to continue to maintain the shining reputation that was created by Richard and Susan over 30 years ago.
