Meet Our Team

Cory is the owner of our 12 franchises, has been with SERVPRO for 21 years. He began his professional career in the United States Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), operating throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans and completing two tours in the Arabian Gulf. As an Aircraft Director on the ship’s flight deck, Cory was responsible for the safe and efficient launch and recovery of aircraft, managing the movement of people and equipment, and ensuring their combined safety.

After his honorable discharge, Cory returned home to study East Asian Language and Culture at the University of Kansas. He then embarked on a career in property restoration. Drawing from his training and experience in the high-stakes environment of an aircraft carrier’s flight deck, Cory has successfully built his business and managed complex projects. He takes pride in his team and their achievements, as the company has grown to become one of the largest and most respected operators in the SERVPRO system.

“Our goal has never been to be the biggest, but it has always been to be the very best,” Cory says. He is grateful that SERVPRO has given him the opportunity to engage with the community through various charities and local outreach programs, including Ronald McDonald House, Big Brothers Big Sisters KC, Kids TLC, Variety KC, and the Maranatha Family Worship Center.

Co-Owner of Team Bates/Hogan

As General Manager and part-owner of SERVPRO Team Bates/Hogan, Mike plays a critical role in leading daily operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring that every aspect of the business runs efficiently—from emergency response and restoration services to customer satisfaction and team development. What he enjoys most about his job is building strong relationships with his co-workers and helping them grow, both professionally and personally. Watching his team reach their full potential is one of the most rewarding parts of his leadership. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending quality time outdoors with his wife and children, whether that’s hiking, fishing, or just enjoying nature together.

General Manager

Alec is a charter member of SERVPRO of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO of Downtown Minneapolis locations. He is our General Manager. We hired Alec as a restoration supervisor, and he has worked his way up in the company managing commercial and residential projects for water, fire, mold, content, biohazard and general cleaning. He now oversees mitigation, construction and business development for our Minneapolis franchises. Alec lives in South Minneapolis with his Wife.

Project Manager

Gustavo is one of our Project Manager's at SERVPRO of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO of Downtown Minneapolis. Gustavo got his start in restoration on large storm projects and has over 5 years of experience in water, fire and mold restoration.

Project Manager

Dominic is one of our project managers. He has a degree in Medical Lab Technology and has been in the restoration field for nearly 10 years. He is IICRC certified in water, fire, mold, odor and carpet cleaning.

He is also RSA certified in crime scene and trauma clean up. When he’s not working you will find him with his wife and two daughters or pursuing one of his many nerdy hobbies.

Director of Sales and Marketing

Kolbie has been a dedicated member of the SERVPRO team since 2017, combining her passion for helping people with her expertise in restoring buildings and preventing business interruptions. With a background in hospitality management and a degree from Kansas State University, she brings a unique perspective to her role.

Today, Kolbie leads a team of 10 across four markets including Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, and Oklahoma, where she focuses on driving growth and scalability for the company. Outside of work, Kolbie is a proud wife to her husband John, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, and a mother to their daughter, Collins and their son, Sutton.

Sales Account Manager

Proudly serving the Minneapolis market since 2020. With a passion for connecting people and building strong partnerships, Derek works closely with property managers, facility directors, and commercial clients to provide tailored restoration solutions and emergency preparedness planning. His involvement with industry groups like IREM, BOMA, and Hospitality Minnesota reflects his commitment to staying engaged and informed in the markets he serves.

Known for his high energy and authentic approach, Derek is more than just a sales and marketing pro—he’s a proud cat dad, the coolest uncle around, and a familiar face at community volunteer events and local sports games. Whether he's out networking or lending a hand at a food shelter, Derek brings enthusiasm and heart to everything he does.

With a strong blend of professionalism and personality, Derek is the go-to resource for clients looking for a trusted partner in property restoration and recovery.

Sales and Marketing Account Manager

With five years of experience in the restoration industry, primarily in Sales and Marketing, she is passionate about building strong relationships and supporting clients through challenging situations. Her goal is to be a trusted, calming resource during times of crisis, helping ease stress through effective solutions.

She has been with SERVPRO for two years and previously served on the Salvation Army Advisory Board in California. She was also a member of the Central California Adjusters Association, Clovis Chamber of Commerce, and the Refer-2-Grow networking group.

Originally from Fresno, California, she now lives in Minnesota. With a background in graphic design, she enjoys creating logos and artwork in her free time. She’s a devoted aunt, a movie enthusiast, a karaoke fan, and shares a special bond with her 12-year-old epileptic dog.

Director of HR

Her high engagement and ingenuity landed her in the role of HR Representative she facilitates communication and collaboration between the experts in our various departmental fields. In her high-impact role, she problem solves to create clear, positive solutions that affect employees and customers.

She promotes employee engagement and advancement by keeping the various departments current on new processes and events. We consider her the axel that keeps all of us spokes together and the wheel rolling towards our collective goals.

When not here, she is often involved in some active and outdoorsy activities such as swimming, volleyball, and walking the dog.

Systems Administrator

Anthony is our go-to tech wizard who was recently promoted to Systems Administrator, keeping the IT gears running smoothly across all three SERVPRO markets. He began his SERVPRO journey restoring and repairing everything from studio audio gear to TVs and gaming consoles, even jumping into urgent on-site electronics restoration when needed. Over his four years with the company, Anthony has grown into a key team member, now overseeing IT operations, supporting HR systems, and helping produce safety training videos. Born and raised in Texas, he’s a proud dad of two who loves programming, astrodynamics, and spending quality time with his kids playing tabletop board games and painting miniatures.

Office Administrator

Mariah is our office administrator at SERVPRO^®; of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO^®; of Downtown Minneapolis. Mariah has been with us since 2021 and is the glue that holds it all together. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing summer activities.

Restoration Supervisor

Jonathan is a restoration supervisor for SERVPRO^®; of Northeast Minneapolis & SERVPRO^®; of Downtown Minneapolis. Jon comes from a background in security management. Jon has two years of experience and is IICRC certified in fire, as well as having considerable experience running commercial and residential projects for fire and water.

Lucas is a restoration supervisor for SERVPRO^®; of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO^®; of Downtown Minneapolis. Lucas has been with us since November of 2021 and is always quick to respond to an after-hours call. Lucas is a farmer in his spare time and loves the outdoors.

Ben is a restoration supervisor with SERVPRO^®; of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO^®; of Downtown Minneapolis. Ben is IICRC certified in water. Ben is also a musician and plays guitar in his free time.

Restoration Supervisor

Jose is a production technician with SERVPRO^®; of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO^®; of Downtown Minneapolis. Jose comes from a landscaping background and has been with us since October 2022. Jose is experienced in commercial and residential water losses as well as mold.

Restoration Technician

Isaac is a production technician with SERVPRO^®; of Northeast Minneapolis and SERVPRO^®; of Downtown Minneapolis. Originally from California, Isaac has over 20 years of experience in restoration, reconstruction and painting. Isaac is a jack of all trades and always brings a positive energy to the morning meetings.
