Meet Our Team

Nathan Norton is the VP of Operations for Team Northern / Maddux. With 10 years at SERVPRO and over 20 years of experience in construction and maintenance, Nathan brings unmatched expertise to restoration leadership. He holds prestigious certifications as an IICRC Master Water Restorer, Master Fire Restorer, Master Textile Restorer, and is also an IICRC Trauma/Crime Scene Technician. Having already accomplished most of his bucket list goals, Nathan now looks forward to the ultimate milestone—retirement.

Melissa Lavender is the Regional Administrative Director Team Northern / Maddux. She has been with SERVPRO for 9 years, bringing strong leadership and expertise in administration and operations. Melissa holds certifications in IICRC, WRT, and Xactimate, which equip her to support both teams and clients with precision and efficiency. At the top of her bucket list? To go on a cruise and enjoy some well-deserved time at sea.

Jansen Nix is the Director of Production for the Team Northern / Maddux. He has been with SERVPRO for three years and brings over 15 years of experience in the restoration industry. Jansen holds certifications in Water, Fire, Mold, and Biohazard remediation, giving him the expertise to lead complex projects with precision and care. At the top of his bucket list? To travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights—and someday own a hotdog cart, blending his love of adventure with a fun personal dream.

Brittany Narey has been with SERVPRO for 1 year, serving as a Customer Experience Specialist for Team Northern / Maddux. In her role, she is dedicated to providing excellent support and ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and professional. At the top of Brittany’s bucket list is to travel the USA in an RV, exploring new places and making unforgettable memories along the way.

Steven is a valued part of our Production Team here at SERVPRO of Gainesville. He began working for us in June 2022 and enjoys being able to assist customers. Steven has excelled in our training programs and now is a Crew Chief. When Steven is not at work he enjoys staying active outside and spending time with friends and family.

Zeb is a valued member of our Mitigation Team. He is undergoing various training courses to better serve our customers. What Zeb enjoys most about working for SERVPRO is being able to remove damaged items from a customer's home for them to have a fresh start for repairs. Outside of work Zeb enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, and fishing!

Lenin Campos is a Technician at SERVPRO, with experience in demolition, cleaning, and mold remediation. In his eight months with the company, Lenin has demonstrated versatility and skill, including the ability to operate a wide range of machinery on restoration projects.

Outside of work, Lenin enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his interest in mechanics. At the top of his bucket list is the goal to be better every day, reflecting his commitment to growth both personally and professionally. He lives by his favorite quote: “Leadership is not about titles; it's about inspiring.”

Garry Wood is a Business Development Representative at SERVPRO, bringing extensive experience supporting production teams and hands-on restoration projects. With over 2.5 years at SERVPRO, Garry combines his expertise with more than 30 years in management and 25 years in sales and sales management, along with exceptional people skills and communication abilities.

Garry is active in the Man Co Chamber and enjoys visiting mountains and beaches in his free time. At the top of his bucket list is a desire to visit Niagara Falls and the giant redwoods in the Northwest. He is guided by his favorite quote: “It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.”

Drew Archer is a Restoration Manager at SERVPRO, having progressed from a technician to a leadership role over his extensive tenure. He has been with SERVPRO since June 1, 2008, and holds certifications including WRT, ASD, FRST, OCC, AMRT, CPR, and Lead RD, equipping him to manage complex restoration projects effectively.

Drew also brings hands-on skills in drywall, flooring, and tile, which complement his leadership capabilities. Outside of work, he enjoys softball, golf, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. At the top of his bucket list is to travel to the Midwest for an extended period of time. He lives by his favorite quote: “Do what you can with what you have, where you are!” – Theodore Roosevelt

Chris Brown is a Restoration Technician at SERVPRO, bringing hands-on experience from his previous work in construction and crew leadership. Though he has less than a month with the company, Chris has experience leading crews for four years on projects building concerts and festivals and holds several construction-related certificates.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his loved ones. At the top of his bucket list is a goal to see the world, reflecting his adventurous spirit and desire for new experiences.

Rick Northen has been a SERVPRO Owner since 2013. With a strong background in business and sales, he applies his experience and expertise- leading his team to success in the restoration industry. His focus on customer service, team development, and operational excellence has been key to the company’s growth and success.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys hunting, spending time outdoors, and following sports. Go Dawgs!

Brent Maddux has been a SERVPRO Owner since May 2019. With a strong background in roofing, he transitioned into the restoration industry to expand his expertise and provide comprehensive solutions for property owners. His leadership is centered on delivering exceptional service, building strong teams, and ensuring customers receive the highest level of care during challenging times.

Outside of SERVPRO, Brent values time with his family and enjoys following a variety of sports. He will always be "for the A" and a Dawg at heart!
