About Us
SERVPRO of Chula Vista was founded in 2006 by Martin Aguilera, who started the business out of his garage with the help of a few family members. In the early days, the company served just a small slice of Chula Vista but as word spread and the work kept coming, the team grew year after year. A second location followed, and the company became known throughout the South Bay as SERVPRO of Chula Vista.
In 2021, Martin's sons, Martin Jr. and Albert, took over day-to-day operations, carrying forward the same hands-on, family-run approach their father built the business on. Today, our team of 40 employees serves not only Chula Vista, but also La Jolla, Mira Mesa, Pacific Beach, Rancho Peñasquitos, Miramar, and Scripps Ranch — and we regularly assist on jobs across Southern California. When major catastrophes strike elsewhere in the country, our crews are also called up as part of SERVPRO's national Storm Team response.
We specialize in water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, and full-service reconstruction for both residential and commercial properties. Our technicians are IICRC-certified, we are listed on multiple insurance preferred vendor programs, and we offer bilingual English and Spanish service so every customer in our diverse community gets clear communication from start to finish.
Above all, our mission has not changed since day one: serve the community, do the right thing, and treat every customer like family. We are proud to give back locally and to be the team San Diego County calls when something goes wrong.
