Why Choose SERVPRO for HVAC and Air Vent Service?

SERVPRO of Bennington & Rutland Counties  offers HVAC Air Duct Cleaning using negative pressure to Manchester, Vermont.

Cleaning Under Negative Pressure

As cleaning agitation proceeds inside the ductwork, dislodged particulates are sucked out of the duct and into the vacuum receptacle. Working under negative pressure prevents contamination of household air during the cleaning process as well as later, when loosened contaminants left in the ducts might infiltrate living spaces after the system is restarted. The vacuum force itself also enhances the cleaning action of the tools.

The benefits of servicing your HVAC unit include:

    • Helps to restore peak energy efficiency.
    • May help to eliminate offensive odors.
    • Helps reduce the potential for mold growth.

Things You Should Know about HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning

First, system access to the duct interiors should be made through existing openings. This could be via:

  • Return grills.
  • Duct end caps.
  • Existing service openings.

Your SERVPRO technician will often begin by breaking contaminants loose from your system, either by hand or using a vacuum, to agitate dirt and dust. This is a basic, but important step in the HVAC cleaning process.

SERVPRO uses a variety of tools and equipment. It might be mounted on a truck, or they may use portable vacuums. Chemicals may also be used to help sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize air ducts.

We hired SERVPRO of Bennington & Rutland Counties HazMat team to remove 200 years of animal scat from an 1835 church with broken tower and window where creatures could get in. The area was covered with evidence of animals, even between the walls. I cannot imagine a worse scenario. I saw it before their work. Yes !!! They exceeded any expectations I could have had. I was stunned; the wooden beam and stair structures looked new, pure and clean. They even lowered a man and bucket between the walls and put a screen around the inside of the tower so animals could not enter until the time we could afford to repair and restore the tower. SERVPRO is exceptional. Thank you !! St. John's Church, E. Poultney, VT
