About Us
Our History
Since 1997, the Owners of SERVPRO of Bennington and Rutland Counties has been helping the people of Bennington and Rutland Vermont Counties and neighboring communities. More than thousands of customers have called upon us to restore their property.
John and Angie Flood opened their first business in 1997 named “Deep Clean Restoration.” located in the small town of North Bennington, Vermont. It started as a carpet cleaning business but, grew over the years adding many services including water mitigation and fire restoration. In 2014, The Floods decided to become part of the SERVPRO family and are now owners of the SERVPRO of Bennington and Rutland Counties. Angie ended her career in nursing to run the office, and John continued to work with our crew out in the field.

Owners, John A. Flood, Angie Flood, and John M. Flood (Son) as well as our leadership team, grew up and raised their families in this community. We are invested in the future of our community and our customers’ needs. As we have grown, our mission has never changed. We serve the people, the businesses, and organizations of Greater North East area that help make our community great. We help organizations such as Bennington College, Shire Housing, Williams College and are dedicated to partnering with our local Chambers of Commerce to help serve our Community even more.

We had water damage in our home causing damage to an upstairs bathroom and the living room below. The damage was extensive enough to warrant a homeowners claim to our insurance company. This happened on a Sunday. The claim was made on a Monday and Servpro called us that same day and sent a crew out. I cannot say enough about the quick response and professionalism of the Servpro team both those in the office and those who came to my home. The damage was quickly cleaned up and removed and no trace left behind. They came when they said everyday, were respectful of my property and extremely thorough. Thank you to Harley, Dan, Bob, Nick, Nathan and Kunar as well as Emily and Grace in the office for making claim go smoothly. I highly recommend SERVPRO!

ServePro of Bennington did a stellar job cleaning my 98-year-old mother's basement, which resembled a hoarder's cave. Half a century of debris was removed and the walls and floors were exposed and thoroughly cleaned. The "before" and "after" photos tell the story. In addition to the cleaning, the staff took special care to come on their scheduled day and to complete the work quickly to minimize the disruption for my mom. Thanks to Emily in the office as well as Carl, Nathan, Bob and Jeremy in the field.
