2/20/27 UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner to discuss my concern. I appreciate their attention to maintaining great customer service. I encouraged SERVPRO to notify customers requesting a quote that there is $150 fee if one decides to use another company for repairs. For transparency, and a point of education for those unfamiliar with this industry: ask if you will be billed for the quote if you ultimately go with another company. All the other companies I requested and received a quote from, and didn't go with, did not charge me a fee.
