UPDATE: Everything was made right once a very nice and understanding general manager was informed of the issue. Hopefully, I won’t have more water damage in the future but if I did, I would go to ServPro since they pretty much do it all. I will add what I didn’t before that everything was left fairly clean after the wall was removed. Original Review: This all started with a dead animal in my wall and found maggots. During that discovery, found water damage in an adjacent wall. Needed a section of wall removed and replaced. Estimate didn’t even have the wall replacement/repair included. Had the crew scheduled for a day to come out and took off work for it. They never called or showed up. Turns out we needed an asbestos test done which was news to us when we called about where the crew was and if they were on their way. Had to take off another day later in the week to have the work done. Poor communication. The wall demo only took an hour, roughly, and it was all claimed to be dry when they arrived. They found no dead animals but didn’t even check the wall where the maggots were found. No way of them seeing into that wall from the cuts they made so I might still have a dead animal in the wall. At least there is no more smell since it’s dried out. When it was all said and done, almost all line items on the original estimate were incorrect. It has been about 3 revisions of the estimate and it is still wrong. For some reason an emergency call fee was added to “save money”? It wasn’t even on the originally estimate. It’s like pulling teeth. Have already paid more than needed and looks like we are owed money. We also had to replace the wall on our own so the whole process has been tiring and left me displaced from my bedroom. Not sure if information was not disclosed or the project manager thinks we will pay for things that were not even done. Either way: terrible experience.

SERVPRO of Northeast Dallas did an excellent job with the actual cleanup and mitigation work at our property. The on-site technicians were punctual, respectful, and kept us informed through every step of the drying and cleanup process. They used state-of-the-art equipment and didn't cut any corners. The only minor headache was coordinating some of the initial paperwork details, but the quality of the actual physical work and their response time more than made up for it. Would definitely use them again."

Arquimedes and Jose were extremely helpful, patient and professional. I went from a flooded mess to a bright clean room. I am totally pleased and would definitely encourage anyone to use them. Thank you
