The Servpro team that came to our home due to a water leak from our dishwasher were very kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional. We had a middle-of-the-night disaster at 12:15 AM on a Sunday when the expansion tank on our attic hot water heater catastrophically failed. Water came pouring down through the ceiling, flooding our bedroom and bathroom. Thankfully there was a shutoff valve in the attic, but the damage was already done. I called our insurance company, then immediately called ServPro. I’d seen their trucks at other major water damage jobs in the area, plus their strong ratings and 24/7 availability made the choice easy. I was on the phone with them by 12:50 AM, and they arrived at our house by 2:00 AM. The crew jumped right in — setting up industrial fans and dehumidifiers, pulling soaked insulation from the attic, and extracting water. They worked until everything was under control and were out by around 4 AM. They returned Monday morning, opened up the walls and ceiling, removed more wet insulation, and continued monitoring and drying the house every day until it was completely dry. Zac and the entire crew were outstanding — professional, hardworking, and genuinely caring. This all happened right before the 4th of July, and thanks to them we were able to dry out and clean up in time for our big family party. We still have the repairs to do, but it’s comforting to know ServPro can handle that too if we choose. I’m extremely grateful they were there and ready to go in the middle of the night.
