SERVPRO of Carbondale/Clarks Summit/Old Forge was open in 2010 by franchise owner Kevin Wentling in Scranton, PA. Since that time the franchise has grown ever year from the original team of one restoration crew to our current level of 4 crews, a cleaning division and a HVAC duct cleaning crew. Kevin holds several industry related certificates and places a high priority on customer satisfaction. The current office is located in Taylor and we continue to serve the Scranton, greater Lackawanna County area.
SERVPRO of Carbondale/Clarks Summit/Old Forge is an IICRC certified firm and maintain relationships with most of the major insurance companies. We are a State Farm Preferred Service Provider, a member of Alacrity Services, Fixx Book as well as many local preferred vendor programs. We currently employ crew chiefs certified in HVAC, bio-hazard cleanups including meth houses, suicide and crime scene cleanups, as well as many other industry specific certifications. Our franchise also employs a certified mold inspector who conducts our air quality testing. All our employees are required to completed the SERVPRO Industries training and undergo background checks.
In 2017 Kevin was able to purchase a second franchise which he named SERVPRO of Hazleton/Dallas/Harvey's Lake which services the Luzerne County area. SERVPRO was amazing to work with. They were so quick and helpful during a devastating time. I know that they were extremely busy due to the recent cold weather, but still managed to be very attentive to my specific damage. SERVPRO Rocks!!! I have a rental in Scranton and the pipes in my laundry room froze and burst causing a good amount of damage. I called Nick and he came out the same day, quoted me and started the job immediately. Which I believe saved me from further water damage. He gave me a time frame, in which I could expect the job to be started and completed. I was absolutely impressed! He communicated with me through the process and never left me wondering. Work was done to perfection!

SERVPRO recently completed cleaning/restoration at my mother-in-law’s home in Peckville, PA after a (luckily) minor cooking fire. The work was timely and complete. Please thank your cleaner/painter staff, two young women who worked very hard and did great work.

You just finished clean up after our sewer line overflowed into our 1/2 bathroom and family room. I wanted to compliment the folks you sent to help do the demo, clean up, and dry out of the space. They were a friendly hardworking group who were also understanding and accommodating of my allergy issues that could have been triggered by some of the clean up process. Chris headed up the job and was especially patient with my questions and explaining the process. I was having difficulty finding a local contractor who does concrete polishing and Chris also shared a contact for a contractor I wouldn't have been able to find otherwise. Thanks for being there and doing what you do to make an unfortunate situation better.
Blessed. In a word , this is the feeling of myself and my co-workers over the services provided by SERVPRO and their team! Without the quick response, no limits mindset, and professionalism, we would have never been able to serve our customers without disruption like we did. In a matter of a few hours SERVPRO had its team of professionals here and spent tremendous care with the delicate nature of the job we do!
