Exceptional Service When Our Family Needed It Most I genuinely cannot say enough good things about SERVPRO and the team that helped our family through what was easily one of the worst situations we have ever experienced in our home. Two weeks ago, a sewage pipe ruptured in our basement, leaving approximately three inches of raw sewage across three separate rooms. It was overwhelming. Our home was unsafe, and my wife, our 2-year-old, and our 1-month-old baby had to be displaced. That is where SERVPRO—and especially their team leader, Pete—showed us what exceptional service actually looks like. When Pete learned that my wife and two very young children had been forced out of our home, he literally turned around on the highway at 4pm to come help us. That one action tells you everything you need to know about the type of person he is and the type of company SERVPRO represents. From the moment the team arrived, they were incredible. They immediately took control of an extremely stressful situation while still treating us with compassion and respect. They pumped out the sewage, thoroughly decontaminated the affected areas, and handled the demolition of our entire basement with an unbelievable level of professionalism and efficiency. But what impressed me most wasn't just the quality of their work—it was how they treated my family throughout the entire process. The communication was outstanding. We were kept informed about what was happening, what needed to happen next, and what we should expect throughout the process. Calls and questions were answered. Things were explained clearly. They showed up when they said they would. Every member of the team was professional, respectful, efficient, and genuinely caring. I've dealt with many companies and contractors over the years, and I can confidently say that the communication and professionalism we experienced with this SERVPRO team was the best I have ever seen.
