    Office Administrator-Since joining Team Chestnas in August of 2007, Mary has been the friendly face that greets you at the door and the warm voice on the other end of the phone. Beyond the front desk, Mary is also the powerhouse behind our annual golf tournament benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children in St. Louis—an event close to our hearts.     Sales and Marketing- Jan Mullaney is a key member of SERVPRO®; Team Chestnas, where she plays a vital role in client outreach, service education, and project estimation. A dedicated community leader, Jan is actively involved in several regional chambers of commerce, including the Fenton Area, Kirkwood/Des Peres, and Southwest Chambers. She has served on numerous committees and boards, contributing her time and leadership—including service on the Board of Directors—to support local business growth and community development. Jan is also a recognized All-Star Partner with CAI Heartland (Community Associations Institute) and currently serves as President of its Board of Directors. Her professional affiliations extend to NAPO St. Louis (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals), where she participates in networking and educational events aimed at enhancing professional standards and community engagement.

    Brand Communications Coordinator Sarah joined Team Chestnas in July 2022 — literally one day before the historic St. Louis flash flood. Talk about being baptized by water! Since that wild first week, she’s taken the restoration world by storm, gaining experience at lightning speed. Originally starting in business development, Sarah quickly found her sweet spot in social media and digital marketing. She now leads our online presence with creativity, style, and strategy. She also has a special place in her heart for our local heroes, championing First Responder Marketing efforts that make sure they feel recognized and appreciated. Sarah is also the life of the party — literally. She spearheads workplace culture with event planning, team celebrations, and all things fun. Whether she’s behind the camera or behind a campaign, she brings energy, warmth, and a whole lot of heart to everything she does.

    Kurt Chestnas

    General manager, I started working in the restoration industry on and off in 2005, and transitioned to full-time in 2015. Over the past 10 years, I’ve built my career in this field, working my way up through several roles. I began as a Water Technician, advanced to Crew Chief, then to Operations Manager, and currently serve as General Manager. From a customer standpoint, I genuinely enjoy helping people find solutions during what is often a very difficult time in their lives. Supporting insured clients through catastrophic events and helping them restore their home or business gives me a strong sense of purpose. I take great pride in educating my customers and guiding them through the insurance process, helping them regain a sense of normalcy. On the team side, what I find most rewarding is sharing my knowledge and experience. I enjoy mentoring others, helping them grow both personally and professionally, and supporting them in building a lasting career in the restoration industry.

About Us

Owners Jeff and Sandy Chestnas expanded their presence in the community by acquiring their second SERVPRO Franchise, SERVPRO of Fenton/South Ballwin. Many people ask why a second SERVPRO Franchise???...Jeff has over 25 years' experience in the construction and insurance industry. Following a career as a union carpenter, Jeff was introduced to the insurance industry and worked at NCA Group as a catastrophe and daily claims adjuster. With Jeff's knowledge of construction and insurance he knew the restoration industry was a perfect fit.

Sandy graduated from Fontbonne University in 1987 with her Masters Degree in Communication Disorders. Her passion for helping her patients recover from speech, language and swallowing disorders shifted to helping customers recover from natural disasters.

Jeff and Sandy are well respected in their local community and the restoration community. They continuously give back and support local events and organizations. Jeff is proud to be a Shriner and has dedicated his time to giving back to the St. Louis Shriners Hospitals for Children. Jeff and Sandy have been awarded the Gold Book Society Award and are honored to have a Radiology Room at the newly built hospital dedicated to them. Jeff and Sandy have donated over $100,000 to the hospital as a result of their Annual SERVPRO Golf Tournament to benefit the hospital.

Jeff and Sandy pride themselves on being locally owned, great work ethic and service they provide to their customers. This starts with their team of "HEROES" in the field, office staff and marketing team.
