Rick As you know, my family was in the process of selling our house. When the inspection came back, some items needed to be mitigated due to possible water intrusion or high humidity in my basement. Shortly after Christmas in 2022 we had a pipe freeze and break when it thawed at our Deepcreek second home. The water flowed for four days about 30,000 gallons. Many homes in Deepcreek had similar problems that year. Our insurance company recommended ServPro. They responded to my call the day I called. They had a crew out the next day even though it was a weekend. They pulled the carpet on Sunday to minimize the moisture in the house. The dry out was extensive since we had special flooring to support radiant heat. They worked diligently to dry out the structure and jumped through hoops to get storage PODS to move contents out of the house and a dumpster for demolition. Since so many homes were damaged in Garrett county MD that weekend due to the extreme cold weather (-20) the PODS and dumpsters were scarce. They did the demo and remediation efficiently. After the rebuild they were very responsive to unpack the POD and move the contents back into the house. I highly recommend ServePro and want to specially thank DJ and Tim.
Daniel Guy and his crew were at our home within 2 hours of our call. They took away all our worries, handled all the details regarding damage and loss and left us feeling grateful for their services. The team did a very professional job! They took pictures of everything destroyed and provided me an electronic copy of all the photos so I could complete my insurance company's form which required details only I could supply. I would definitely use them again. The basement was restored to new condition with no hint of water damage.
