When we got word that our basement was flooded in a sudden storm that overwhelmed our roof drainage / gutter system; we panicked. Yikes. What to do? After our daughter alerted us to the emergency, we called our home owners insurance agent, and he suggested Servpro as a good source for reliable help with the clean up. We called them immediately . And they came quickly, which felt like a miracle, given that the whole atea of Rexburg was hit by the same storm. One bedroom carpet had several inches of standing muddy water on it. There was even a dirty line in the window where the window well filled up to a foot of water that poured inside through an opening throughout the night of September 17th, 2026. Wow, My husband and I headed out for a 4 hour drive from out of town, to come save our home. We were able to contract with them over the phone so they could give us an estimate and start working at the same time! When we arrived at our home, the men was just finishing up. A crew of 6 spent over 5 hours to remove the; muddled carpet, affected base boards and pad. We felt like a priority to them. They worked hard and accomplished so much more than we ever could have on our own. They have also been courteous and kept us informed start to finish. So professional. Our basement was saved from being a total disaster. The carpets left in place, were set up with an array of fans and 2 large dehumidifiers. Their instructions were clear and we followed them exactly. Now we feel we can take over and finish up with what we can do. Because of swift and professional care given to our family during this potential catastrophe, our basement was saved. We had some issues with mold and water leakage in our apartment and they were great! Adrian was professional and communicated very clearly regarding times and processes. Him and his team did an excellent job evaluating the problem, clearing items from the room, and removing the mold. Jared was also very professional in his initial evaluation and communication. I had Servpro clean walls, ceiling, carpets due to 40+ years of smoking damage. The mitigation crew did a great job cleaning the walls and ceilings. Melissa and I communicated well to get things done. However, in mid project it became necessary to perform encapsulation, which falls under the reconstruction department, for the heavier smoked rooms. Scott came in and went above and beyond to get the job done to meet the deadline. There was a glitch regarding the scheduling toward the end of the job when it came to the carpet cleaning. Scott was called in to complete this part due to his background and experience. I appreciate his time and effort in this project.
