Meet Our Team

Bob Vohl brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and risk management in the insurance industry to the position he filled here at SERVPRO^®; in 2015. He is responsible for managing and cultivating the very important relationships we have with fellow SERVPRO^®; Franchises, as the Director of our Support Services Division. Bob, who is HIPPA Certified, coordinates our Document Restoration Response Team and other Support Services response team efforts in the field.

In addition to assisting SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque with Support Services and managing special projects, Bob is the Managing Senior Consultant at MB Mold & Air Quality Testing, an affiliated company. In that capacity, he does Mold and IAQ testing for many of the local remediation contractors, including SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque as well as several of other SERVPRO^®; franchises in IA, IL & WI.

Bob is certified with the IICRC as a WRT (Water Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying) & AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician).

Bob is also certified with the ACAC as a CIE (Council Certified Indoor Environmentalist) and CMI (Council Certified Microbial Investigator). In that capacity, he does Mold and IAQ testing for many of the local remediation contractors, including SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque as well as several of our sister SERVPRO^®; stores IA, IL & WI.

Bob loves to spend time with his family and friends and is an avid outdoors-man.

Stacey Freihage is the Business Development Director at SERVPRO of Dubuque, Platteville, Monroe.

Mike Lukan is a Crew Chief at SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque.

He grew up in New Vienna, a small town in NW Dubuque county, and went to Beckman High School. I have lived in Dubuque for the majority of my adult life and have one teenaged son.

I previously worked in the concrete construction industry for 15 years plus, doing everything from bridges to residential concrete.

I believe in giving back and try to donate my time or coordinate donations for various causes during the year. Working for SERVPRO also gives me a good feeling, as we help people when they are going through something devastating in their lives. I often say that we meet some amazing people in our business but always hinder the worst circumstances. So, it's nice to help give them some relief.

Sam Benda was born and raised in Dubuque by parents Dennis and Christine Benda. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa, Sam worked at Dubuque Senior High School as both an educator and coach for 15 years. While he enjoyed his time working in public education, the past two years has been time period has been ever-changing for Sam. He married the love of his life, Ashley Leute in the summer of 2021 and they had their first child, a boy named Lincoln, in the spring of 2022. Shortly after becoming a father, Sam decided to make a career change and he was hired as a project manager at SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque in August of 2022. He has enjoyed his short time in this role both because of the fun and welcoming staff, but also because each day brings a new and exciting challenge that involves helping people in a time of need.

Dan Fleming is a Sales Marketing Representative at SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque.

He has worked at SERVPRO^®; since October of 2021. Before he came to SERVPRO^®; he was the District Sales Manager at Frito Lay Inc. where he worked from 1985 to 2021. He has been married to his wife Polly for 36 years, has three daughters, and four grandchildren. In his free time Dan enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also an active member of the Optimist Club.

Austin Faber is a Crew Chief at SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque.

Austin has worked with SERVPRO^®; since November of 2020. He has lived in the tri-state area most of his life. In his free time, he enjoys raising aquarium fish. He likes to help people that need his expertise and tries to make the process easier on his customers. He is a great leader and strives to make sure every job is “Like it never even happened”.

Lauren Fink is a production tech at SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque.

She has been working at SERVPRO^®; since July of 2022. She was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. She has six siblings and two cats. In her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her cats, friends, and family. She has gone through all the proper training to make it “Like it never even happened”.

George Karwoski is a production technician at SERVPRO^®; of Dubuque.

George has been working at SERVPRO^®; since April 2023. He is very skilled in concrete, flooring, running gas lines, and grew up cleaning and repairing his father's rental properties. George was born and raised in Dubuque and has 6 children. In his free time George enjoys fishing, camping, and restoring old cars.
