In mid-August, we had a water flood in the bathroom downstairs of our house, which damaged the floors and walls of downstairs bathroom, bedroom, and living room. A few days later, after initial immediate cleanup of the water, I contacted Servpro Norco for evaluation of the damage and estimation of the restoration work that would be needed. They responded to my request promptly. Jim and Chris showed up the same day and ran a detail and complete inspection of the damages. They explained to me about the work to be done and our options. I introduced them to our home insurance company and put them in touch with each other. The crew from Servpro came by a few days later and started their work by removing the damages wood floors, cutting down damaged parts of the dry wall, and detaching the toilet, sink and vanity in the bathroom. Part of the preparation was removing our belongings from the bedroom and bathroom, which they did very carefully by packing everything in separate marked boxes. Once this stage of work was done, they set up a hermetic seal around the damage area, and treated the mold developed due to the water flood, and then set up a complete set of ventilation fans. During the next few days, someone from their team, either Jim or Chris or someone else, came by regularly to check on the status of drying of the area and made necessary adjustments on the fans. Jim from Servpro helped us scheduling a visit from the mold inspector, which came by a few days later. The inspector took samples, and sent them back to their lab, based on which we passed the mold test easily. Once the Servpro team completed their work, we contacted a reputable construction company, which provided us with the estimate for necessary repair work, which we will start once we get approval from the home insurance company. We were very happy with the 5-star service that Servpro Norco provided to us after the water flood in our house. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend this team to any of my friends and acquaintances. I have used Servpro of Norco for multiple remediation's (we've had the worst of luck with our homes). They have been there for us time and time again. They respond quickly to all situations, communicate openly and frequently while advising us of each step they are taking. All of the employees I have been in contact with are kind, understanding, and very helpful. When they complete a job, they always clean up and have been very good about containing any dust/dirt/debris to the affected areas. I would give them 1m stars if it were available.
