Ryan Kaun is the owner of several SERVPRO locations in Wisconsin, including SERVPRO of Pewaukee & Sussex, SERVPRO of West Bend, SERVPRO of Germantown/Hartford, SERVPRO of Bay View, and SERVPRO of Beaver Dam/Columbus. Prior to purchasing his own SERVPRO franchises, he worked at another restoration company.

He holds multiple certifications, including Fire & Smoke Restoration, Odor Control, Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, and Lead Safe Renovator. Ryan leads by example—working hard and treating every home or business like it were his own. He looks forward to helping people through SERVPRO during some of their greatest times of need.

Johan van Niekerk is the owner of several SERVPRO locations in Wisconsin, including Pewaukee & Sussex, West Bend, Germantown/Hartford, Bay View, and Beaver Dam/Columbus. He leads with a focus on excellence, integrity, and putting customers first.

With over 10 years in the SERVPRO system, Johan has worked his way up from technician to owner, giving him strong knowledge of both restoration work and business operations.

He holds many IICRC certifications across water, fire, mold, and cleaning specialties, earning the title of Master Water Restorer.

Johan is committed to growing SERVPRO in Wisconsin and to developing his team through training and internal promotion. Under his leadership, our SERVPRO locations are known for fast, high-quality, and caring service.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his son Enzo, and he loves sports and cars.

Mike Dowden serves as the Mitigation Project Manager at SERVPRO, bringing over seven years of hands-on experience in restoration and water damage mitigation. Having worked his way up through the mitigation department, Mike has developed extensive expertise managing a wide variety of complex and technical projects.

He holds multiple IICRC certifications, including Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FRT), and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), enabling him to lead his team with confidence, precision, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Known as the go-to lead for heavy demolition projects, Mike is recognized for getting even the toughest jobs done quickly and efficiently. He is also highly experienced in biohazard and specialized cleanup projects, where his attention to detail and professionalism truly stand out.

Mike takes pride in helping customers through challenging situations and ensuring every job is completed efficiently and professionally. Outside of work, he enjoys spending his weekends fishing and relaxing outdoors.

Gavin DeBoer serves as a Mitigation Project Manager at SERVPRO, where he oversees mitigation projects from start to finish—ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards. He holds certifications in OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and multiple IICRC specialties, including Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration, and Odor Control.

Before joining the SERVPRO team, Gavin worked for several years as a professional plumber, making him the company’s go-to in-house plumbing expert. His technical background allows him to approach restoration challenges with precision and creativity. Gavin is known for encouraging team members to think outside the box on complex projects and for mentoring new employees in the mitigation department, helping them progress along their training paths with confidence.

With a strong focus on leadership, safety, and quality workmanship, Gavin is dedicated to helping clients recover from unexpected damage and restoring their homes or businesses with care and professionalism. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors.

Since joining SERVPRO in July of 2022, Paula Weeks has served as Office Manager, playing a key role in the company’s continued growth and evolution. With over 16 years of customer service experience, 3 years of prior HVAC industry experience, and a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification through the IICRC, Paula brings a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of both client relations and technical operations.

Known for her versatility and dedication, she wears many hats—overseeing operations, supporting project coordination, and helping streamline processes that have strengthened both efficiency and customer satisfaction. Her team-oriented approach and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in expanding the business and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Outside of work, Paula enjoys spending time with her daughter, Alice, and their dog, Huey, as well as managing her own residential cleaning business and bartending part time at a local sports pub.

Anthony Vaiana joined SERVPRO in February 2023 as a Construction Project Manager and is now the Construction Operations Manager. In this role, Anthony oversees the reconstruction department and manages daily operations, guiding and leading the construction team. With a background in professional construction management, Anthony brings extensive expertise to SERVPRO. His eight years of experience as an insurance adjuster provide him with unique insight into the claims process, allowing him to efficiently navigate and manage the complexities of insurance claims. His job-specific skills include high-level Xactimate estimating (interior & exterior), knowledge of local state & municipal code requirements, employee development and leadership, and system and process implementation to create a more efficient and customer-centric construction experience.

Additionally, Anthony has a background in personal real estate investing and flipping homes, ranging from full cosmetic rehabs to attic additions and architectural redesign implementation. These projects have further enhanced his comprehensive understanding of construction and property restoration. Anthony’s dual expertise in construction and insurance, combined with his hands-on experience in home rehabilitation, makes him an invaluable asset to SERVPRO and its clients. In his free time, Anthony enjoys road cycling, various forms of competitive auto racing, and traveling to new places.

Dante is a Crew Chief at SERVPRO, where he leads crews on new and ongoing projects, ensuring that every job is completed efficiently, safely, and to SERVPRO’s high standards. Known for his strong technical skills and hands-on approach, Dante consistently ensures that each restoration project is handled with precision and care.

Having been with SERVPRO for about two years, Dante has proven to be a quick learner who has shown remarkable growth and technical improvement in a short time. He currently holds an IICRC certification and excels at guiding his team through challenging restoration work. Customers frequently commend Dante for his attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care throughout the restoration process, often noting how smoothly their projects run under his leadership.

Dante values the teamwork and communication that define SERVPRO’s success and takes pride in helping both his crew and clients navigate even the most difficult situations with confidence.

Alyssa is the Construction Coordinator at SERVPRO, where she plays a key role in keeping projects organized, efficient, and on schedule. She manages the daily intake process for the Construction Team, maintains detailed project documentation, and serves as a reliable point of contact between customers, subcontractors, and project managers.

In 2025, Alyssa and her husband, who is also part of the SERVPRO family, are excitedly preparing to welcome their baby girl into the world. Her two dogs, Tobias and Mango, occasionally stop by to lift everyone’s spirits; Tobias charms the team with his crooked smile, while Mango wins hearts with his determined, loving nature.

Zach Doll serves as a Construction Project Manager at SERVPRO, bringing valuable experience from his previous role as a Property Claim Adjuster at Travelers Insurance. His background in claims handling gives him a deep understanding of the restoration process from both the contractor and insurance perspectives, allowing him to guide projects smoothly from start to finish.

Zach has demonstrated exceptional project management skills, consistently keeping his jobs on time and on budget. He is highly skilled in writing clean, accurate estimates in Xactimate and excels at getting those estimates approved quickly, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with his parents, John and Joy, and his child, Calvin. He’s also known around the office for his impressive appetite—famously eating 13 breadsticks in a single sitting.

John Svoren serves as a Construction Superintendent for SERVPRO, where he oversees reconstruction projects from planning to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and client satisfaction. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in home projects and remodeling, John brings both a strong technical foundation and a hands-on approach to every job.

Far ahead of the knowledge curve for his age, John has demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and professionalism in the field. His attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to excellence make him a valuable leader within the construction team. The SERVPRO team expects great things from John for years to come, as he continues to show tremendous potential and drive for success.

Outside of work, John enjoys fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors.

Jack is a skilled Crew Chief at SERVPRO, bringing a strong background in restoration and construction to every job. With a degree in Carpentry and an IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification, Jack combines technical expertise with hands-on experience to lead projects efficiently and effectively. His attention to detail, leadership, and commitment to quality ensure that every property is restored to the highest standard, helping clients recover quickly and confidently from water and structural damage.

Jack is known for being dependable, hardworking, and always willing to put in the effort to get the job done right. His positive attitude and constant smile make him a pleasure to work with, and he has shown outstanding work ethic and dedication since the very first day he joined the SERVPRO team.

Jorge Dario Gonzalez Caridad is a Production Technician at SERVPRO. He works closely with team leads, project managers, and the owners to assess damage, implement drying and containment strategies, and prepare properties for repair and reconstruction. Jorge is committed to minimizing loss and downtime while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment for every customer. Outside of work, he enjoys working on cars and helping others.

CJ Williams is a SERVPRO Production Technician specializing in mold remediation, demolition, and water damage restoration. He holds a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification through the IICRC, reflecting his expertise and commitment to safety and quality. Known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude, CJ takes pride in restoring properties efficiently and with care. His professionalism and dedication make him a valued member of the SERVPRO.

Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the restoration industry, our Commercial Large Loss Manager, Jeff Kaminski has extensive expertise in both mitigation and reconstruction. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed high net-worth residential claims across the Midwest and produced numerous multi-million-dollar restoration projects, including apartment complexes, institutional facilities, and hotels impacted by storm and fire damage.

He has held leadership roles as Regional Manager and General Manager for multiple restoration companies, overseeing large-scale operations and project delivery. From 2000 to 2007, he served as a National Mitigation Manager, responding to major commercial losses across the country. In this role, he was responsible for developing work scopes, negotiating costs and contracts with commercial insurance carriers and insureds, and coordinating crew mobilization and site logistics for job-specific needs. His experience includes managing claims related to hurricanes, regional flooding, tornadoes, wind events, and industrial fires, as well as chemical impact incidents.

Notably, he also responded to and managed losses in New York City immediately following the 9/11 catastrophe.

Today, he continues to apply his deep industry knowledge as a building consultant for multiple commercial insurance carriers, where he produces validated and substantiated work scopes and cost estimates to support fair and accurate claim settlements.

Shane Wilson is a hardworking Production Technician at SERVPRO, where his strong work ethic and positive attitude make him a valued part of the restoration team. Always eager to learn, Shane approaches every project with determination and a commitment to delivering the highest quality results for our customers. He takes pride in doing the job right the first time and ensuring clients feel confident and cared for throughout the process.

Shane has shown an impressive ability to quickly learn and implement new knowledge and skills, consistently improving with every project he takes on. He is set to make the move to Crew Chief in 2026, as he has already demonstrated that he is ready for the next step and added responsibility within the team.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending his free time outdoors, especially hunting—a hobby that mirrors his focus, patience, and drive to succeed. His reliability, enthusiasm, and dedication make him an integral part of the team and a great representative of the SERVPRO spirit.

Devin Prado joined SERVPRO in February 2025. As a dedicated and detail-oriented restoration professional, Devin takes pride in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water and fire damage. Known for his strong work ethic, accuracy, and commitment to quality service, he contributes to every project with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Devin has already demonstrated exceptional skill in project documentation, a highly valuable strength since thorough documentation is essential for insurance carriers and project approvals. His precision and consistency make him a key asset to the team, and he is set to begin his training to become a Crew Chief soon, continuing his growth within the company.

Devin enjoys being part of a team that restores not only properties but also peace of mind for clients.

Jamilcka Rivera Latorre is a Production Technician at SERVPRO. Known for her strong attention to detail, efficiency, and dedication to maintaining clean and safe environments, she takes pride in delivering high-quality work on every project. Jamilcka is also eager to learn new techniques and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, hiking, and yoga.

Nigel is a Production Technician at SERVPRO, where he focuses on property damage restoration—helping clients restore and protect their homes and businesses. Originally from Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, a small border town, Nigel relocated to Wisconsin last year and has been enjoying the transition. He’s quickly embracing life in his new state and proudly becoming a Wisconsinite and Brewers fan—Go Brewers!

Peyton Snyder is a Production Technician at SERVPRO, where he plays an essential role in supporting his team lead and ensuring every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. With a strong commitment to helping others and maintaining a positive work environment, Peyton takes pride in contributing to SERVPRO’s mission of restoring both properties and peace of mind. Outside of work, he enjoys building cars and traveling with friends to automotive events, reflecting his dedication to craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Vinny is a dedicated Production Technician at SERVPRO with hands-on experience in fire, water, and mold damage cleanup. Known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail, he takes pride in helping restore homes and businesses to their preloss condition.

Currently, Vinny is expanding his expertise and will receive his Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification this November. He is also on track to complete all the training required to become a Crew Chief in the near future—a reflection of his commitment to growth and excellence.

Vinnie never complains, always works hard, and is a valued member of the SERVPRO team who consistently supports his coworkers and sets a great example through his dedication and reliability.

Sadie is the Administrative Assistant at SERVPRO. With a background in HR and experience working with her family’s tiny home businesses, she has developed a strong foundation in supporting teams and helping with operations. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, further expanding her skills in leadership and organization. Sadie enjoys collaborating with her team, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of the franchise.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, tackling creative projects, and being with friends and family.

As a Construction Superintendent at SERVPRO, Ian brings years of hands-on experience managing projects of all sizes—from large-scale hotel renovations to detailed home remodels. Known for his strong work ethic, technical expertise, and clear communication, Ian takes pride in delivering high-quality results while ensuring a smooth, positive experience for both clients and crews.

Before joining SERVPRO, Ian worked for a local home builder, where he was responsible for constructing houses from start to finish. This experience provided him with invaluable technical knowledge and a deep understanding of every phase of the building process. His ability to help customers navigate the reconstruction phase with confidence and clarity is key to delivering exceptional results.

Ian has been a great addition to the SERVPRO, bringing leadership, professionalism, and craftsmanship to every project he oversees.

Tony Mueller is a full-time estimator at SERVPRO and has been in the restoration industry for over 10 years, with the past eight focused on estimating both small and large loss claims. Often the first on-site when clients need an estimate before work begins, Tony plays a key role in setting projects up for success. He is passionate about helping clients through difficult times and ensuring they are treated fairly throughout the insurance process.

Tony holds IICRC certifications in Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Odor Control, Water Damage Restoration, and Applied Structural Drying. A recent girl dad, Tony brings the same care and dedication to his family life that he shows to his work. Since joining SERVPRO, he has been a valuable addition to the team, continually contributing to its growth and success. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and is an avid sports fan.

Ashley Baalke, is a Reconstruction Coordinator for SERVPRO. Known for her unwavering determination, Ashley brings professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail to every project she undertakes. One of her many roles, she ensures that clients receive exceptional support during challenging times.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ashley continues to embody the values of integrity, service, and commitment that define her both personally and professionally.

Mitch McKnight serves as the Senior Mitigation Manager for SERVPRO. He brings five years of extensive mitigation and storm travel experience, supplemented by a background in construction. Mitch fully understands the restoration process from start to finish. His primary duty is overseeing daily operations for the Emergency Mitigation Department. Mitch is certified in Water, Fire, and Microbial remediation. He takes pride in everything he does and is dedicated to helping families during their time of need.
