A disaster in your home is tough to deal with. SERVPRO of Pflugerville softens the blow. After a broken pipe in the foundation of my house, I had a mess on the 1st floor of my home. Craig McCreary, production manager, came out to estimate the job and tell me everything that would happen, step by step. He was professional, thorough, courteous, and friendly. I felt a lot better about the situation after meeting him. Arthur and Dustin came out and very gently moved our first floor belongings to one of their vaults, exercising as much care as if the items were their own. Arthur answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. They returned with Angel and Eddie to begin the drying process and remove the laminate floor and baseboards. I never imagined all the flooring could be removed so quickly. Angel and Eddie were incredibly efficient. Dustin removed all the wet drywall and some shelving very efficiently. The drying process took days and Arthur repeatedly came by to monitor the process, phoning ahead each time and working around my schedule. All the equipment was removed yesterday and we're finally dried out here. Craig contacted me today to schedule their return for a final cleanup (removing all that drywall dust). When I told him he could come today and mentioned I had another contractor coming in a few days to do drywall repair, he suggested we wait for the final cleanup until after the repair was complete since it would create a lot of dust again, thus saving me from having to do it myself.
I really can't say enough good things about these folks. They all made a bad situation a lot more bearable for me. While I hope disaster doesn't strike again any time soon, I know whom I'll be calling if it does. Also, my dog really liked them and she hates almost everyone. :)
