Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.
Clean Residues From Surfaces
After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration
We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

ServPro was very responsive to my situation. I had to have some cabinets and countertop removed due to water damage from refrigerator leak. The cabinets were not damaged from the water and not damaged when removed so they can be reinstalled. Mike Dreiling (and team) did a fabulous job mitigating the water and mold that formed between the floor and slab foundation (we had a pipe burst in a wall that saturated three bedrooms and a hallway with brand new hardwood floors). Ben Dove was also very quick to assess the damage and nailed the effort estimate. I hope to never need them again, but if I do, it will be the only call I make!
