This company was my HERO, or I should say Shane Shahidi is the Hero. I have never in my life experienced such a helpful individual that went above and beyond.
When our rental incurred damages from upstairs neighbor's toilet leak. My biggest mistake was initially trusting on my neighbor and their contractor who was delaying my repair process. When I talked to the neighbor restoration company, they were just talking about estimate and how soon I can pay them. I came back home stressed out and couldn't sleep that night. Early morning I called my couple of my contractor friends, they both told me call SERVPRO. I called SERVPRO 7am and Shane Shahidi met me at our rental in less than hour. He looked around and calmly told me when they can start. In few minute my stress level from 15 became 1. I couldn't believe how He made the processes so simple and easy. I couldn't be more grateful. SERVPRO crew were nothing short of exceptional.
They really went above and beyond for me. Shane was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. As a younger women homeowner, I sometimes feel taken advantage of by contractors but that was not the case with SERVPRO.I felt he is one of my family member. Water damage to your home is a time sensitive, stressful situation so don't waste time with other companies. SERVPRO will do right by you, giving you quality work AND quality customer service.

I had a sewage back up and SERVPRO was here right away to help. I’ve never dealt with water damage before, but they walked me through the process and their communication was great. They not only helped with the clean-up but also helped with the repairs after the clean-up! One stop shop, highly recommend!!

SERVPRO of Palos Verdes "is a lifesaver". On Christmas Day the cleanout, [the pipe that transports the water from the house to the sewer,] because of roots, backed up and flooded the downstairs bathroom, hallway (wood floors) and contiguous (carpeted) office ... we dried up with bath towels as much as we could.
After "walking" down the Yelp road, I called them and they came within 2 hours ... analyzed the wetness of the walls and flooring with a handheld instrument and determined that there was water underneath the wood floor [yikes] and the carpet ... I wanted to "dodge" making an insurance claim ... but SERVPRO said that if the water backed came from the cleanout, it was contaminated and the flooring and wet portions of the walls had to be replaced ...
We were lucky ... ["Doc"] Henry from SERVPRO was assigned and he was GREAT ... nice, knowledgeable, patient, and has a good sense of humor ... he knew what to do and explained what he was going to do and why it needed to be done ... over several days he helped us to start the repairs ...
SERVPRO, I hope I never need them again ... but ... is comforting to know there is a responsible company who can help the homeowner with these issues ...
