OUR HISTORY
In 2015, our owner, David Kirk, purchased the SERVPRO of Jefferson City Franchise. Prior to the purchase, David spent 27 years as a logistics manager in six different locations for Procter and Gamble, a global consumer goods company. When the opportunity became available to purchase the SERVPRO of Jefferson City Franchise, he saw it as a time to put together his own team, and utilize the knowledge he gained from his corporate experience, committing himself to bringing long-term success and dedication to the people we service today. When asked why he purchased a fire and water cleanup and restoration franchise, David shares the story of personally witnessing the cruel and devastating effects of water damage to his grandmother’s home by the flood waters of 1993 in Pennsylvania. The loss she experienced and the emotional toll it took on her had a profound impact on him which carries over to the compassion he has about the work his team performs for our customers in a time of need. His dad was his high school football coach and instilled in him the importance of teamwork as the critical cog to achieving success in personal as well as business endeavors.
