Why Choose SERVPRO for HVAC and Air Vent Service?

A healthy living environment starts with clean air. If the air coming out of your vents smells musty, or your air vents look dirty, it’s probably time for an HVAC and air duct cleaning from SERVPRO®.

Each time your HVAC system circulates, your air ducts collect dust, dirt, and other airborne particulates that were missed by the air filter. In just one year, a typical home can collect more than 40 pounds of dirt, dust, and particles. Everyday housecleaning can get most of it, but it takes a professional cleaning service like SERVPRO to clean air ducts effectively.

Schedule a routine air duct cleaning if:

  • You have pets living in your home.
  • You have allergies or asthma.
  • You smoke.
  • Your home has suffered fire or smoke damage
  • Your home has been renovated or is being remodeled.

Benefits of clean air ducts:

  • Improved indoor air quality (reduced bacteria, allergens, pet dander, etc.).
  • Increased energy efficiency (clogged vents make your HVAC system work harder).
  • Longer life for your HVAC system.

SERVPRO of West Tampa's uniquely trained technicians follow industry standards for air duct cleaning services as defined by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).

We use specialized equipment and proprietary products to clean and sanitize the mechanical components of your HVAC duct and air duct system while controlling the airflow in the healthiest way possible during the duct cleaning process.

Things You Should Know about HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning

First, system access to the duct interiors should be made through existing openings. This could be via:

  • Return grills.
  • Duct end caps.
  • Existing service openings.

Your SERVPRO technician will often begin by breaking contaminants loose from your system, either by hand or using a vacuum, to agitate dirt and dust. This is a basic, but important step in the HVAC cleaning process.

SERVPRO uses a variety of tools and equipment. It might be mounted on a truck, or they may use portable vacuums. Chemicals may also be used to help sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize air ducts.

Jacob and Jefferson were exceptional at the services provided. They were upfront with what they were going to do, and explained the entire process of them cleaning my air duct vents and mold removal within my air ducts.
They provided me a before and after which gave me confidence that they preformed the job correctly.
Would recommend SERVPRO and especially these two!

About Us

In 1993, Jeremy George responded to his first water damage call, and of course it was in the middle of the night. He was 13, and that summer job unexpectedly launched a career making property damage “Like it never even happened.”

In the decades since, Jeremy has responded to thousands of disasters, of every size and type, across Pasco County and Tampa Bay and even internationally, while building a mission-driven team that focuses on providing outstanding service with fairness and mutual respect. He is the owner-operator of six restoration franchises which include West Pasco, West Tampa, Tarpon, Wesley Chapel, New Tampa & Hernando County.

SERVPRO of West Tampa provides professional cleanup for damage from fire, water, mold, and biohazard, as well as other specialty cleaning services. The operation is tied into a national network of more than 2,200 franchises and backed by the depth of knowledge and professional experience of the franchise system founded in 1967 and the local company, operated by the same family for more than 25 years. Our core business is providing restoration and cleanup services to the Greater Tampa Bay Area and we are designated within the SERVPRO system as a Large Loss Response Team and mobilized as needed to disaster sites across the United States.

With a commitment to ongoing and specialized training and to understanding and exceeding baseline industry standards, SERVPRO is proud to provide premiere restoration services as an IICRC-certified firm. At the core of our daily work, however, is our heart and our effort  to empathize as clients face fire or water damage and the disruption it causes to a life, home or business. When you call SERVPRO our goal is to help minimize the burden and quickly do our best to make it “Like it never even happened.”
