SERVPRO of Mountain Home & Harrison
Why Choose SERVPRO for HVAC and Air Vent Service?
A healthy living environment starts with clean air. If the air coming out of your vents smells musty, or your air vents look dirty, it’s probably time for an HVAC and air duct cleaning from SERVPRO®.
Each time your HVAC system circulates, your air ducts collect dust, dirt, and other airborne particulates that were missed by the air filter. In just one year, a typical home can collect more than 40 pounds of dirt, dust, and particles. Everyday housecleaning can get most of it, but it takes a professional cleaning service like SERVPRO to clean air ducts effectively.
Schedule a routine air duct cleaning if:
- You have pets living in your home.
- You have allergies or asthma.
- You smoke.
- Your home has suffered fire or smoke damage.
- Your home has been renovated or is being remodeled.
Benefits of clean air ducts:
- Improved indoor air quality (reduced bacteria, allergens, pet dander, etc.).
- Increased energy efficiency (clogged vents make your HVAC system work harder).
- Longer life for your HVAC system.
SERVPRO of Mountain Home & Harrison's uniquely trained technicians follow industry standards for air duct cleaning services as defined by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).
We use specialized equipment and proprietary products to clean and sanitize the mechanical components of your HVAC duct and air duct system while controlling the airflow in the healthiest way possible during the duct cleaning process.

Things You Should Know about HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning
First, system access to the duct interiors should be made through existing openings. This could be via:
- Return grills.
- Duct end caps.
- Existing service openings.
Your SERVPRO technician will often begin by breaking contaminants loose from your system, either by hand or using a vacuum, to agitate dirt and dust. This is a basic, but important step in the HVAC cleaning process.
SERVPRO uses a variety of tools and equipment. It might be mounted on a truck, or they may use portable vacuums. Chemicals may also be used to help sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize air ducts.

Simplifying Insurance
We make insurance claims easier, with fewer headaches for you. We take care of the details and coordinate any paperwork, so you can focus on moving forward.
We thoroughly document the damage and communicate clearly with you and your insurance agent throughout the process.
Your insurance provider trusts SERVPRO to respond quickly — we address sewage issues swiftly to control costs, prevent further damage, and keep the insurance process moving smoothly.

Commercial HVAC & Air Duct Cleaning
At SERVPRO, we offer commercial HVAC and air duct cleaning services, so businesses of all sizes—from a single storefront to warehouse—can provide clean air for their employees and clients.
SERVPRO technicians, using the latest techniques and equipment, can clean large facilities such as office buildings, hospitals, hotels, and schools. This helps ensure that air quality is improved and your HVAC system runs at peak efficiency.
What our
customers are saying
3rd project with this office GREAT service!
Thank you for responding to the water leak at my Rental Property! Since I was not able to rush over...you did! I appreciate the flexibility and professional service...
We are so glad for the help to get our home usable again. Thank you.
They did a great job, and have made sure we know that they are available until final decisions have been made re: carpeting.
They all were great and did a wonderful job and was very helpful to me, and very nice. I will recommend them to anyone.
Overall I couldn't ask for better service. Every staff member that was involved at my house was top notch. I am impressed!
Team Members, Josh & Lance.
Outstanding service, response time was fast! Thank You. I would recommend SERVPRO to my friends & family.
As OEM Director of Izard County, I requested SERVPRO (Bruce Sanders) to come and give their presentation to my fire chiefs after learning that they had more to offer that JUST clean up and clean carpets. All the plans got interfered with by COVID-19. Fast forward more than a year later, Bruce Sanders and Mark Tyer came out and gave a great and informative presentation. I received good feedback from my fire chiefs. Thank you both very much!
SERVPRO developed an Emergency Ready Plan for the Flippin School District (a complete listing of every electrical, water and gas shutoff in the district and emergency numbers to each service) they included photos of the preferred entrance to the building and the shutoff itself. What a great service provided free of charge to the school districts! They provided each office with a hard copy as well as an app that contains the information. I can now carry this information with me (via the app) 24/7.

OUR HISTORY
Richard Hastings’, Owner and Vice-President of SERVPRO of Cape Girardeau & Scott Counties, humble beginnings with SERVPRO started in 1980 in his home state of Delaware. After a lengthy amount of time as an employee, he decided to purchase the franchise. As SERVPRO as a whole continued to grow, there was an opportunity to add franchises. Richard decided to take a leap of faith; he sold his franchise to his sister and moved to be a SERVPRO pioneer in the state of Missouri. While he was building the first St. Louis franchise, he met his wife Sandy, and they got married in October of 1987. Sandy left her job at KETC (PBS network) in 1988 to join SERVPRO as President and Co-owner. The couple welcomed their beautiful daughter, Brittany, in 1991. Brittany and her husband Mac Davenport are also now co-owners of SERVPRO of Cape Girardeau & Scott Counties and have been with the company since 2016.
As opportunity presented itself once again, Richard sold the St. Louis franchise to start one in Sandy’s hometown of Cape Girardeau in September of 1992. To get the business off the ground, Richard would stay with his mother-in-law in Cape Girardeau when he got jobs while Sandy stayed with Brittany at their home in St. Louis, Missouri, until it was sold. Six months later, in March of 1993, all three of them were able to move into their new home, which was nestled in Southeast Missouri, right in the heart of the Cape Girardeau community.
In May of 2024, with Mac and Brittany at the helm, they acquired SERVPRO of Mountain Home & Harrison in addition to SERVPRO of Cape Girardeau & Scott Counties. Our goal is to serve the Mountain Home and surrounding communities with the same level of integrity and excellence that has been established in the Cape Girardeau area. We hope you will allow us to serve you in your time of need.
