Water Damage Restoration
This course provides attendees with an understanding of emergency services, assessing damage on a water loss, defining the classes of water types, tools used to determine moisture levels along with an overview of mold contamination. The second half of this course includes information on restorability of materials, effects of moisture on contents and structure, and why quick response reduces loss and adjusting expenses. There is also a discussion on the processes used by restoration vendors, Theory of Drying, and much more. With a better understanding of water mitigation, an attendee will see how mitigation can lessen the damaging effects of a water loss, improve customer satisfaction and lower claim cost.
